ngaṇīe drāksh bījoṭ bījoṭalā; Hāṅre kūve so pīpar ghamghamiyāre alā
English meaning: O brother! (He received the answer that) /n her yard there are trees of grapes and millet, and the sound of swaying of thick pipal trees can be heard near the well.
Kachā so ghaḍā kachī so dor; Hāṅre alā pāṇī bharaṇ kūṅve chalīre alā

Phūṭiyo na ghaḍā merī trūṭiyo na dor; Hāṅre alā māṅ ghar Pīr Shams piroṇalāre alā

English meaning: O brother! ( mṇā ai said)͗ Eeither did my pitcher crack nor did my rope break. O Emṇā! This has happened because of your faith.
Suṇ merī naṇanTī Wum sūṇo merī naṇanTī; Hāṅre alā hāthke Tevūṅgī do kaḍvere alā
English meaning: O brother! ( mṇā ai said)͗ >isten my sister-in-law! / will give you two bangles of my hand; (do not reveal the secret that Pir Shams (ra) is a guest in my house).
Bhiṭh tere kaḍve e sonārundhe ghaḍve; Hāṅre alā merī jībhalḍī laṭpaṭiyāre alā
English meaning: O brother! ( mṇā ai͛s sister-in-law said)͗ Fie upon your gold bangles! My tongue is getting restless (for disclosing this secret).
Suṇ merī mayyā Wum suṇo merī mayyā; Hāṅre alā Emṇāe ghar abhḍā diyāre alā
English meaning: O brother! ( mṇā ai͛s sister-in-law said)͗ O my mother! >isten! O my mother! >isten! mṇā has defiled our house (by hosting a Muslim Pir as a guest).
