aesā mārag ham kabhū na dekhīyā Bāi Buḍhāi Jīre bhāi aesā mārag ham kabhū na dekhīyā, Nahīṅ kuchh shīkhā suniyā jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! I have never seen such a path and nor have I learnt or heard (anything regarding it).

Verse 2
Jīre bhāi bāp āpṇo paṇ shāhāne srevantā, Evā satpanth sāchā jāṇo jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! Our father too used to obey the Imam; this Satpanth is true.
Verse 3
Jīre bhāi tāre māre have salām ālekī kahīye, Paṇ vachan sar par lahīye jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! You and I now wish salām µalaykum (bid farewell) to each other; but I take the promise upon my head (that I will fulfill it).
Verse 4
Jīre bhāi ghaṭ thāpiyā ne pāṭ ja mānḍiyā, Ane kumbh jal ame līnā jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! (I) set up the 3āܒand performed the ritual of GhaܒSāܒand partook of ĀE-e-6KDIā.
Verse 5
Jīre bhāi kumbh jal ved parmāṇe ja sāchā, Paṇ Hājar Beg hāth na līnā jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! The ritual of GhaܒSāܒis correct according to the Vedas but I will not accept it from the hands of Hāzar Beg.

Jīre bhāi tamāre āgal ham to sar dharīyā, Paṇ hamkū dīdār dejo jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! I have bowed my head in front of you but grant us Didar.

Jīre bhāi Bāi Buḍhāi evī ardās ja boliyā, Te piyar ke ghar māṅhe jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! Bai Budhai entreated thus; she was in her parents’ home.
