Verse 1

(Garbi-2) Āj ānand pāmiyā man ke, Satgur sreviyā re lol

English meaning: Today the heart obtained happiness that we obeyed the True Guide.

Verse 2

Tame bhulo ma murakh lok ke, Maram radeh dharo re lol

English meaning: O ignorant ones! (Or O fools!) Do not be oblivious; obtain the secret in your heart.

Verse 3

E to pākhaṇ deval bhūt ke, Pherā sūṅpharo re lol

English meaning: These stone and temples are all apparitions or idols, why do you go around them?

Verse 4

Tame srevo satgur nūr ke, Gur anvar dhaṇi re lol

English meaning: Obey Satgur Nur, the Guide who is Lord of the Light.

Verse 5

Tame dān dasonde rahejo pūr ke, To phal pāmso re lol

English meaning: Remain committed (or perfect) in paying Dasond then you will obtain the reward.

Verse 6

E to purā rikhisar karse rāj, Je satpanthe chālse re lol

English meaning: In this way the perfect believer will rule who will remain on Satpanth (true path).

Verse 7

Tame nācho din ne rāt ke, Kāiṅ nav pāmso re lol

English meaning: You dance day and night; (you) will obtain nothing from it.

Verse 8

E to pathar sarve bhūt ke, Bole bhi nahīṅre lol

English meaning: These stones are all idols (apparitions) who do not even speak.

Verse 9

Tame bhulo te phokaṭk ā h e ṅke, Je ghaḍiyā mānvi re lol

English meaning: Why do you unnecessarily forget that man has made them?

Verse 10

E to garbi juṭho chhe dev ke, Bhavāni chhe kiyāṅre lol

English meaning: This Garbi of the deity is false, where is Bhav āni in it?

Verse 11

E to gur bharmāni kaḷā bharpur ke, Tiyāṅsarve rahe re lol

English meaning: Where the attributes of the Gur Bhirma are complete (or perfect), there all reside.

Verse 12

Tame juṭhā juo sab soṅsār ke, Janamthi jāṇjo re lol

English meaning: In this world whatever you are doing, is false and it is false from the very beginning.

Verse 13

Tame māno Ali avtār ke, To phal pāmso re lol

English meaning: Obey the manifestation of Hazrat Ali (a.s.) then you will obtain the reward.

Verse 14

To pāp prāchhat thāse dur ke, Padmi pāmso re lol

English meaning: Then your sins will be removed and you will obtain a superior status.

Verse 15

Em samjāviyā chhe satgure sāch ke, Toe nav jāṇiyā re lol

English meaning: In this way the True Guide explained the truth, yet they did not understand.

Verse 16

Te to suṇiyā sarve lok ke, Vaḷtā boliyā re lol

English meaning: All those people hear d it and said whilst going:

Tame āvjo biji rāt ke, Mili kari nāchie re lol

English meaning: Come again on second night, (we) will dance jointly.

Verse 18

Em boliyā gur Shams Pir ke, Chetine chāljo re lol

English meaning: In this way the True Guide Pir Shams (r.a.) says: act vigilantly.
