jī āj We amar āveā H ane bhale padhāreā kirtārjī; Kāme kāje je jīv bhūlā, teno eḷe gayo avtārjī
English meaning: O brother! The command has come today, it is fortunate that Mawla has safely arrived. The one who became obsessed with carnal desires, his life gone waste.
jī ek chandan pāse līmb chhe H Wemāṅhe sugandh bahū apārjī; Tene re pāse polā vāṅsaḍā H Wemāṅhe sugandh nahīṅ re lagārjī
English meaning: O brother! A neem (margosa tree) stands beside a sandalwood tree, in which there is intense fragrance (due to the proximity of the sandalwood tree). esides it there are shallow bamboo trees as well, but they bear no fragrance at all.
