Verse 1

(Selected Verses) Jīrebhāīre āj te gurnar partak beṭhā, Jugājuge chhe avtār jī

English meaning: O brother! Today the guru (Pir) and nar (Imam) are seated manifestly; in each era they have been manifest.

Verse 2

Jīrebhāīre gur rūp shāhā Shams dhariyā, Shāhā Kāsam Shāhā nām bhaṇaeā jī

English meaning: O brother! Shah Shams (RA) came in the guise of guru (Pir) (and) introduced Imam Qassim Shah (AS).

Verse 3

Jīrebhāīre te gurnā thānak Mulastāne hūvā, Te gurnar partak pāyā jī

English meaning: O brother! The residence of the guru (Pir) is in Multan; we found that gurnar (Imam) present.

Verse 4

Jīrebhāīre Sūrjā rāṇī ne Kamlā kūṅvar, Tenī Chīṇab nagar jāṇo jī

English meaning: O brother! Queen Sūrjāand (her prince) Kamlā Ku۪warwere from Chīnab Nagar (the city of Chenab).

Verse 5

Jīrebhāīre teṇee l ammāṅhe shāhā pīr dīṭhā, Te sāchā moman kahevāe jī

English meaning: O brother! They recognized the Shah and the Pir through knowledge; they are true believers.

Verse 6

Jīrebhāīre beimānī andhā te pās ja raheve, Teṇe doe karīne jāṇeā jī

English meaning: O brother! The faithless blind were staying close but they considered them (the Shah and the Pir) as two.

Verse 7

Jīrebhāīre sāchī sukrit jenī pahele hove, Te sāchā moman kilāve jī

English meaning: O brother! First and foremost those whose deeds are good are true believers.

Verse 8

Jīrebhāīre moman te je kharā dasondī, Gurne vāeke chāle jī

English meaning: O brother! A believer is one who is firm in offering dasond; he acts according to the words of the spiritual guide.

Verse 9

Jīrebhāīre gurnar to takhte beṭhā, Mūrakh na jāṇe andho jī

English meaning: O brother! The gurnar is seated on the throne but the ignorant blind do not realize.

Verse 10

Jīrebhāīre mūrakh te je gurnarne na jāṇe, Avar duniyāsūṅ rāche jī

English meaning: O brother! The foolish are those who do not recognize the gurnar. They are engrossed in the world.

Verse 11

Jīrebhāīre gurnar to jugājug āveā, Kaheā te ved vichār jī

English meaning: O brother! The gurnar have come in every era and conveyed the thoughts of the vedas.

Verse 12

Jīrebhāīre Sūrjā rāṇī sāchī kahevāe, Tene gurnarne parmāṇeā jī

English meaning: O brother! Queen Sūrjā was true who recognized the gurnar.

Verse 13

Jīrebhāīre teṇe gurnar Pir Shamsne jāṇeā, Ved vāeke chāliyā jī

English meaning: O brother! She recognized the gurnar Pir Shams (RA) and acted according to the teaching of the vedas.

Verse 15

Jīrebhāīre kahe Sayyad Imām Shāh tame vāek māno, To sare tamārā kāj jī

English meaning: O brother! Sayyid Imam Shah (RA) says: if you follow the teachings then all your tasks will be accomplished.
