Verse 1

jī ajab jamānā suṇo momān bhāijīH kaljug āviyā khoṭā jīre

English meaning: O my believer brother! >isten! A strange era has come, the false Kaliyuga has come.

Verse 2

jī pīrsūṅ murīT laḍengeH bāpkū mārengā beṭā jīre

English meaning: O brother! The disciple will Ƌuarrel with the Pir; the son will beat up the father.

Verse 3

jī husiyārī husiyārī tame cheto momān bhāiH najīk āviyā chheḍā jīre

English meaning: O believer brother! e alert, be vigilant, the end has approached.

Verse 4

jī kaljug jamānā kaṭhan mere bhāiH jūṭh bole tise baḍāī jīre

English meaning: O my brother! The era of Kaliyuga is very arduous, the liar will be elevated.

Verse 5

jī satīyā bī tyāṅ saW chhoḍengeH SuThā phal sūk sūk jāve jīre

English meaning: O brother! Truthful people will also abandon their truth, fresh fruits will dry up.

Verse 6

jī ākās kerā meh na barsegāH jamīnmāṅ he Thān na pāke jīre

English meaning: O brother! Zain will not fall from the sky; the land will not yield crops.

Verse 7

jī māī beṭī donū laḍengīH ek ek-kū kahegī sokā jīre

English meaning: O brother! Mother and daughter will Ƌuarrel (amongst themselves and), will call each other a co-wife.

Verse 8

jī khāe pie ne sove ekṭhā, dost hove dushmanā jīre

English meaning: O brother! Those friends who used to eat, drink and sleep together will turn into enemies.

jī sāsū uṭh kar pāṇī bharengī, vavar beṭhī khānā khāve jīre

English meaning: O brother! The mother-in-law will get up to fetch water while the daughter-in-law will sit and take a meal.

Verse 10

jī sāhebkū to nafar dabāvegāH bāvā aesā jamānā āyā jīre

English meaning: O brother! The employee will bully the boss, such a time will come.

Verse 11

jī māṅho māṅhe donū banThav laḍengeH We ek ek-kū chheTenge jīre

English meaning: O brother! oth brothers will fight amongst themselves and will attack each other.

Verse 12

jī maraTkū to avrat mārengīH bāvā najar tamāsā dekho jīre

English meaning: O brother! A wife will beat up husband; watch this spectacle with your own eyes.

Verse 13

jī hindū musalmān doi milege, ekṭhā besī khānā khāve jīre

English meaning: O brother! Hindus and Muslims will meet each other and have meals together.

Verse 14

jī mullā bhrāmaṇ donū gāyā kāṭege, so vāṭe sāṭe laḍenge jīre

English meaning: O brother! The mullah and the brahmin will both slaughter a cow and will Ƌuarrel with each other because of this.

Verse 15

jī miskīn ke sir balā paḍegīH pakḍegā gumān jīre

English meaning: O brother! Misfortunes will befall the poor; arrogance will arise in people.

Verse 16

jī āj kaljugkī aesī vela jāṇo, bāvā aesā jamānā āyā jīre

English meaning: O brother! Today the Kaliyuga is such an era; such a time has come!

Verse 17

jī satī jaWī koī virlā hovengeH bājat hove gharbārī jīre

English meaning: O brother! Scarcely will there be anyone pious. The recluse will also become a family man.

Verse 18

Ejī shīlvanWīkū to jāgā nāhīH kam asīl hove rāj Tuvāriyā jīre

English meaning: O brother! The virtuous will not be given any status whereas the unworthy will be in the king͛s court.

Verse 19

jī ātas kerā tab meh barsegāH jamīn te jal jal hovegi jīre

English meaning: O brother! /t will be at this time that a torrent of fire will pour from the sky and the earth will burn down.

Verse 20

jī ek Tin aesā vāe chhūṭegāH pāhāḍ parbaW uḍ uḍ jāve jīre

English meaning: O b rother! One day such a (strong) wind will blow that all the mountains will be blown away.

Verse 21

jī ālimke sir gunāh hovegāH bāvā aesā amal hovegā jīre

English meaning: O brother! Scholars will become sinners; such misdeeds will appear.

Verse 22

jī bājat lok būjaW nāhīH kaesā amal hovegā jīre

English meaning: O brother! The abstemious will not understand which deeds ought to be performed.

Verse 23

jī sāt daryākā nir ghaṭengā, maregā jal chāra jīre

English meaning: O brother! The water of the seven oceans will dry up; all the sea creatures will become extinct.

Verse 24

jī chānd suraj doe chhipegā, hovegā ThanThū ThanThūkār jīre

English meaning: O brother! oth the moon and the sun will go into hiding; there will be darkness everywhere.

Verse 25

jī koṭ khasegā māḍiyūṅ paḍengiyūṅ Hjamīn We jal jal hove jīre

English meaning: O brother! Forts will displace, buildings will collapse and the earth will burn down.

Verse 26

jī bār kos ke darmiyāneH ek Tivā jalegā jīre

English meaning: O brother! Within a distance of twelve leagues (an obsolete unit of distance of variable length, usually ϯ miles) only one lamp will glow.

Verse 27

jī dunyā sagh܃ī fanā hovegi, na rahegā tiyāṅ koī jīre

English meaning: O brother! The entire world will be annihilated; no one will remain there.

Verse 28

jī ek Allah keri jāt rahegi, tab tiyāṅ ek /lāhī jīre

English meaning: O brother! Only Allah will remain therein; then only Allah will be there.

Verse 29

jī hāth bilasW najīk upārH apne sāhebjīki bāTshāhī jīre

English meaning: O brother! Mawla͛s sovereignty is only a span way (very near.)

Verse 30

jī Pīr Shams kalandar iyūṅ ja kahiyāH apne sāhebjīkā ajab /lāhī jīre

English meaning: O brother! Pir Shams Kalandar (ra) said that the miracle of our lord is strange. (Eote͗ There is a similar ginan which begins with ͞e virā bhāi husiyārā bhāi husiyārā͟ which is Ginan no-Ϯϳ of this volume.)
