Ejī alakh sirevo bānā āpṇū, Bānā sach thī karīyo kamāi, Allāh yād kariyo jī
English meaning: O brother! Remember the Lord who is beyond comprehension. O brother! Earn truthfully. Always remember Allah.

Verse 2
Ejī duniyā fānī jāṇīye, Bānā hī lāḍāṇo sāth, Allāh yād kariyo jī
English meaning: O brother! This world is perishable; O brother! All these things will pass. Always remember Allah.
Verse 3
Ejī purakh pāchhamthī sāmī rājo āvshe, Shāh māro Duldul ghoḍe asvār, Allāh yād kariyo jī
English meaning: O brother! My Lord will arrive from the west riding on Duldul (horse). Always remember Allah.
Verse 4
Ejī jampū me shāh takht rachāve, Shāhnā munīvar meḷā meḷ, Allāh yād kariyo jī
English meaning: O brother! My Lord will establish kingdom in the subcontinent where there will always be happiness for the momins. Always remember Allah.
Verse 5
Ejī koṭ ghaṭā ghaṭ luṭiyā, Tāro bhamar chaliyo moklāe, Allāh yād kariyo jī
English meaning: O brother! The fort of your body will be completely plundered and your soul will fly away. Always remember Allah.

Ejī kāyā hia sā dehḍi, Teno hans uḍāṇo jāe, Allāh yād kariyo jī
English meaning: O brother! Your body will remain here and your soul will fly away. Always remember Allah.
Verse 7
Ejī kāyā sethī hans vichhūṭā, Tenū mushkil hove karār, Allāh yād kariyo jī
English meaning: O brother! When the soul is separated from the body, its (body’s) survival become very difficult. Always remember Allah.
Verse 8
Ejī gor andhārī māṅhe chālṇā, Tenū Ajrāil jallād jīvḍo kabaz karshe, Allāh yād kariyo jī
English meaning: O brother! When executioner Azr āil will take away his soul, he will go into a dark grave. Always remember Allah.
Verse 9
Ejī chhoḍ vasantā jhūpḍā, Tame ujaḍ jāe vasāe, pāndhī panth sirevo, Allāh yād kariyo jī
English meaning: O brother! Leaving the populated place, your abode will be in a deserted place. O traveler! Take the straight path. Always remember Allah.
Verse 10
Ejī Pīr bhaṇe Sadardīn momano, Bānā hī kūḍo sansār, Allāh yād kariyo jī
English meaning: O brother! Pir Sadardin (r.a.) says: O momins! This world is false. Always remember Allah
