Jīre bhāi amrāpūrī āgal ek gugrī jo bāndhī, Te gugrī nū tej apār jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! Near the eternal abode (heaven) there is tied a gugrī(a small bell). The light of this gugrī is very intense.

Verse 2
Jīre bhāi te gugrī heṭhe ek rang ja lāgo, Das āsmān thī malāek āve jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! There is much celebration beneath that gugrī; angels come there from the ten heavens.
Verse 3
Jīre bhāi te malāek darūd nimāj ja paḍe, Te sāchā rīkhīsar ne kāje jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! Those angels recite Salawāt and prayers for the believers.
Verse 4
Jīre bhāi marat lok māṅhe je koi aḍdhī rāte jāge, Tene kāje jikar kare chhe jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! In this mortal world whosoever rises at midnight these angels do dhikr for him.
Verse 5
Jīre bhāi bhaṇe Sayyad Imām Shāh ame gugrī je dīṭhī, Te dīṭhīyūṅ vātū ham kaheve jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! Sayyid Imam Shah (R.A.) says that I have seen that gugrī; I am relating what I have seen.
