Verse 1

amrāpūrī āgal ek gugrī jo bāndhī

English meaning: O brother! Near the eternal abode (heaven) there is tied a gugrī 2 (a little bell), that gugrī is very luminous.

Verse 2

Jīre bhāi te gugrī kī pāse ek malāek beṭhā, Te jūve sāchā moman nī vāṭ jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! An angel is sitting near that gugrīwho is awaiting the true believers.

Verse 3

Jīre bhāi rāt dīvas malāek sevā māṅhe ūbhā, Ke sāchā moman kyāre āve jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! That angel is standing day and night in service as to when the true believers will come.

Verse 4

Jīre bhāi marat lok māṅhe je koi sāchī prīte jāge, Te gugrī ne nīche āve jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! In this mortal world those who will remain awake in true love will come under the gugrī.

Verse 5

Jīre bhāi sāchī prīte je koi gurnar ne ārādhe, To te gugrī ne tale bese jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! The one who will obey the true guide with true love will sit beneath the gugrī.

Verse 6

Jīre bhāi gugrī tale gurnar āp ja beṭhā, Te sāchā moman tiyāṅ ja āve jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! The Gurnar himself is seated beneath the gugrī;the true believer will come there.

Verse 7

Jīre bhāi bhaṇe Sayyad Imām Shāh ame gugrī jo dīṭhī, Te gugrī nū tej apār jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! Sayyid Imam Shah (R.A.) says that I have seen that gugrī; the light of thatgugrī is very intense. 2 §g™ĺ means a little bell, a jingling bell, a rattle; boiled grain; a type of umbrella.
