Jīre bhāi amrāpūrī āgal ek gugrī jo bāndhī, Tenī jot nirmal hoe jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! Near the eternal abode (heaven) there is tied a gugrī(a small bell); its light is pure.

Verse 2
Jīre bhāi gugrī nīche bichhāṇā jo paḍiyā, Tis upar pustak rākhīyā jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! Beneath the gugrī is a bed on which is kept a book.
Verse 3
Jīre bhāi te pustak māṅhe akhar ajab, Te māṅhe loh kalame likhīyā jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! That book is written in a strange script; it is written with the Tablet and the Pen.
Verse 4
Jīre bhāi te pustak āge ek malāek ubhā, Tenā hāthe hīrā jaḍiyā jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! An angel stands near the book whose hands are studded with diamonds.
Verse 5
Jīre bhāi unke ajvāle te pustak dīse, Aor shāhkī safāyat kāhāve jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! In that light (of the diamonds) he sees in that book and says the Lord’s intercession.

Jīre bhāi marat lok māṅhe je koi rāt din jāge, Ane gurnā ginān sambhlāve jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! In this world those who remain awake day and night and relate the knowledge of the spiritual guide.

Jīre bhāi malāek ubhā teniyūṅ vāṭūṅ jūve chhe, Te pustak pāse velā āvo jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! Those angels await such people; come near the book soon.
Verse 8
Jīre bhāi je shāhā pīr kī sāchī dasond ja āle, Te to gugrī nīche āve jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! Those who pay the correct Dasond of the Shah Pir will come beneath the gugrī.
Verse 9
Jīre bhāi unūṅ bichhāṇe upar unkū biṭhāve, Ane pustak pāse rākhe jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! They will be made to sit on that bed and will keep the book near them.
Verse 10
Jīre bhāi bhaṇe Sayyad Imām Shāh ame bichhāṇā par beṭhā, To tame sāchū karī māno jīre bhāi
English meaning: O brother! Sayyid Imam Shah (R.A.) says that we have sat on that bed; believe this to be true.
