Verse 2
Ejī panj vārantā man varjīne liyo, Dil ilalāsūṅlāvo
English meaning: O brother! Prevent the five evils, control the heart and attach the heart only to God.
Verse 3
Ejī hak sukritsūṅ miliyā moman, So tā karaṇī shudh kamāyā
English meaning: O brother! The believer who adopted true and virtuous deeds, he earned pure deeds.
Verse 4
Ejī sāchī sukritsūṅ galiyā moman, So tā nūrmā nūr samāyā
English meaning: O brother! The believer who was immersed in true deeds, he merged with light and became light.
Verse 5
Ejī samāyāre so tā amar huā, Sāiyāṅ tejkū āpme lādhā
English meaning: O brother! He who merged became immortal; he found the light of the Lord within himself.
Verse 6
Ejī ab suniyore duniyā kerī mahobat, Kese kāme jīv bāndhā
English meaning: O brother! Now listen to the facts about worldly love; to what deeds have (you) attached your heart?

Ejī lobh lālachre man mohsūṅlagat hae, So dīnkī rāhse ṭāḷīyā
English meaning: O brother! He whose heart is occupied with greed he is flung away from the path of religion.
Verse 8
Ejī mankī mānetīsūṅ miliyā moman, So tā mohoke senme jaliyā
English meaning: O brother! The believer who followed his own carnal desires is caught by the army of desires.
Verse 9
Ejī panjtanīre moman māl na deve, So umrukā jūṭhā dhandhā
English meaning: O brother! The believer who does not pay the dues of the Panjtan (Pāk), the business of his whole life is false.

Ejī chālīsāre hakbujo momano, Tame chhoḍo duniyākā phandā
English meaning: O believers! Understand the fortieth part to be the right; shun the trap of the world.
Verse 11
Ejī murshid kāmilkū nahīṅ jāṇo momano, Tame jugmā phiro jesā andhā
English meaning: O believers! If you do not recognize the perfect guide then you roam in the world as a blind person.
Verse 12
Ejī pichhānore moman apne antarsūṅ, To dil nirmal jesā chandā
English meaning: O believers! Recognize from your heart then the heart will be as pure as the moon.
Verse 13
Ejī murshid mānore apne man chintsūṅ, Sāiyāṅ dilmāṅhe hardam hajūr
English meaning: O brother! Obey the spiritual guide with your heart and thought then the Lord is always present in the heart.
Verse 14
Ejī Sayyad kahet Imām Dīn vachan suṇo munivar, Bhamar guphā upar nūr
English meaning: O brother! Sayyid Imam Shah (r.a.) says: Listen O believers! There is light in the centre of the fore-head.
