Verse 2
Are beṭī re ham buḍhā bahot dīn ja huā, Tamāre ghar me joban sarūp jīre beṭī re
English meaning: O Daughter! I have become very old; you are yet young.
Verse 3
Are beṭī re ben bhāi tame jiyāṅ sarag māṅhe beso, Tiyāṅ bī ham tamārā gulām jīre beṭī re
English meaning: O Daughter! When (both of) you brother and sister will be in paradise, there too I will be your servant.
Verse 4
Are beṭī re janatī mevā tum hamkū denā, Ham haeṅ tumārā gulām jīre beṭī re
English meaning: O Daughter! Give me also the fruits of paradise; I am your servant.
Verse 5
Are beṭī re kete avtāre ham gulāmī me āyā, Ab amar hove tamāre hāthe jīre beṭī re
English meaning: O Daughter! I have spent m any lives in servitude; now at your hands I will become immortal.

Are beṭī re jene jāṇīyā une mārag pāyā, Bin jāṇe mārag na pāe jīre beṭī re
English meaning: O Daughter! Whosoever became aware obtained the path; without being aware the path cannot be obtained.

Are beṭī re mārag pāyā to usne chhupāyā, Gur vachane mārag sūje jīre beṭī re
English meaning: O Daughter! Whoever obtained the path kept it a secret; with the words of the spiritual guide the path is enlightened.

Are beṭī re gur partāpe Hājar Beg ja boliyā, Bāi Buḍhāi ke pāūṅ jīre beṭī re
English meaning: O Daughter! With the media tion of the spiritual guide Hāzar Beg entreats; he entreats at the feet of Bai Budhai.
