Verse 1
Ejī āsh pūnī ham shāh dar pāyā, Rayaṇ bīnī more shāh jagāyā, Shāh jagāyā shāhkā nām ja liaṇā, Bhī sāiyāṅ het pāe rang lāgo, Bhī sāiyāṅ pīr pāerang lāgo, Bhī sāheb tose thīman bāndho, Moro dil bāndhojī
English meaning: O brother! My wish has been fulfilled that I have attained the house of the Lord and my Lord woke me up at dawn. My Lord rouse me to take his name. O Lord! I have caught this color due to love, I have caught this color due to attaining the spiritual master. O my Lord! My heart and mind are attached to you.
Verse 2
Ejī lagḍīre prīt ham neh na chhoḍūṅ, Dhar sir karvat ang na moḍūṅ, Jo jīv jāve shāhkā nām na chhoḍūṅ, Bhī sāiyāṅ
English meaning: O brother! I am in love whic h I shall not forsake; even if a saw is laid at my head I shall not move my body. Even if I die, I shall not forsake the name of my Lord.
Verse 3
Eji marṇā bhī marṇā yārā sab koi jāṇe, Chint na chete ne āp vakhāṇe, Vaṇre chete jannat hūrāṅ kyāṅ thakī pāve, Bhī sāiyāṅ«
English meaning: O brother! Everyone knows that (one day) one has to die yet he is not alert at heart and keeps on praising himself. Without being careful how can he attain paradise and houries?
Verse 4
Ejī shāhjī hamāro Ali var dātā, Ān milo shāh tū āp vasīlo, Shāhjī dekhe shāhkū koi koi dekhe, Bhī sāiyāṅ«
English meaning: O brother! Our Lord is Hazrat Ali (a.s.), who is the fulfiller of promises. O Lord! Come and meet me because only you are my support. The Lord watches everyone yet only a few can see the Lord.
Verse 5
Ejī sāheb hamāro kisiye nav jehī, Var dinū shāh dehpadehī, Ās pūnī hamne lādhā chhe tehī, Bhi sāiyāṅ«
English meaning: O brother! There is no one like our Lord. This Lord has given his word in every era. Our wishes have been fulfilled that we have attained that Lord.
Verse 6
Ejī Pīr Sadardīn yārā paḍe re Kurānā, Bahār jāve tākū andar lānā, Shāhne sujāṇo āpṇā pīrne pichhāṇo, Bhī sāiyāṅ«
English meaning: O brother! Pir Sadardin (r.a.) is giving you the teachings of the Holy Qur ān. Bring back those who have turned away from your religion. Recognize the Imam and know the Pir.
Verse 7
Ejī āl Pīr Shams farjand Sadardīn, E fāl bolyā gur Pīr Hasan Kabīrdīn, Bhī sāiyāṅ«
English meaning: O brother! The progeny of Pir Shams (r.a.) and the son of Sadardin (r.a.), Pir Hasan Kabīrdin (r.a.) said these good omens.
