Verse 1

Jīrebhāībānātūsacho thīsache shāhkhe sireve, Mānat thie var bhale

English meaning: O brother! Be true and obey the true Lord. Follow his guidance so that you may be dear to the Lord.

Verse 2

Jīrebhāī jhājhāre jīvṇāje pinḍso meḍo, Tāṅdiaṇmuaṇmur ma malo

English meaning: O brother! Living long is but a pleasure of the body. May it not be that on the day of death you may not unite with your origin.

Verse 3

Jīrebhāī bhāīḍa bhāīḍa āṅhīsanch vahejā, Lekho hun ghar dahīmilo

English meaning: O brother! Accumulate something and then depart. Settle the account of that house and then meet Him.

Verse 4

Jīrebhāī jīv chālantāpinḍpaḍantāmilo, Lan ke āīṅbhar bhalo

English meaning: O brother! When the soul will leave and the body will collapse, and (you) will meet Him, you will be awarded the fruits of your deed.

Verse 5

Jīrebhāī jīvḍo pinḍeḍo jite phuṭde, Tite thindo jar jalo

English meaning: O brother! Where the soul and the body will separate, there will be an earthquake.

Verse 6

Jīrebhāī sese suiutāemai puchhāī, Baiu jam jam kahāe dohelo

English meaning: O brother! Those who slept, were taken to account in that way. For others death proved very difficult.

Verse 7

Jīrebhāī jāṅjāṅamrāpūrīāhīṅakhīeṅse paso, Tāṅtāṅ āh īṅmur ma melo

English meaning: O brother! Until you do not see the eternal abode with your own eyes, do not forsake it.

Verse 8

Jīrebhāī amrāpūrī māṅhe je jaṇāpotā, Tini yārekhe latho jar jalo

English meaning: O brother! Those who reached the eternal abode, the earthquake was over for those friends.

Verse 9

Jīrebhāī heḍo amīras Pīr bhaṇāve Sadardīn, Ajkal vāre āhīṅvalo

English meaning: O brother! Pir Sadardin (r.a.) says this sweet ginan. Be carefull in the present era of Kaliyug.
