Verse 1
jī bangālā Tesmā āviyāH aWīt verāgī ne bhanḍār; Pīr Shamsne āvī miliyā, gurjī pāṭ mānḍho sār
English meaning: O brother! /n the country of engal ascetics, celibates and mendicants came. They came, met Pir Shams (ra) (and reƋuested that) O Pir! Perform the ritual of ghaܩpāܩ .
Verse 2
jī Pīr Shams paThāriyāH ane āviyā bhanḍārāmāṅhe; sirmras Surbhāṇ pāse rahiyāH traṇe We beṭhā jāe
English meaning: O brother! Pir Shams (ra) arrived and came to the alms house. simras and Surbhāṇ were also with him. All three sat therein.
Verse 3
jī range te chorī chitrī, ane gurjī beṭhā gharmāṅhe; Ghaṭ Whāpī pūjā karī, niyam bhagat sahūne pāe
English meaning: O brother! Having set up a beautiful canopy Pir Shams (ra) sat in the house. He performed the ritual of ghaܩpāܩ and worshipped. The devotees offered āb-e-shafā to everyone.
Verse 4
jī saWpaṇWh sahūne āpiyo, ane jape gurnū nām; Keshavpuri MultāniH evo jape chhe jāp
English meaning: O brother! He granted satpanth to everybody who were remembering the true guide͛s name. They repeat the mantra of ͞Keshavpūrī Multani͟.
Verse 5
jī tyāṅ gurjīe Whānak besāḍiyāH ane sāsto tenū nām; Bangālā TeshmāṅheH sarve soṅpiyā Wene kām
English meaning: O brother! There the true guide appointed a leader whose name was sasta. He assigned all the work in engal to him.
Verse 6
jī mukhī musāfir Whāpiyo, Pāse khijmat kare jamāWmāṅhe; sāsto āvī beseH Wāre ghaṭpāṭ Whāe
English meaning: O brother! Pir Shams (ra) appointed Mukhi and Musafir who serve the :amat. When sasta would come and sit then the ritual of ghaܩpāܩ would be performed.
Verse 7
jī koḍī Tamḍī pīrne potī kare, tyāṅ bhanḍāro jamī jāe; Sahū rikhīsar bhe܃ā malīH ekānt kare tyāṅe
English meaning: O brother! He would surrender every penny to the Pir. There ascetics and mendicants used to avail of meals. All the believers worshipped therein in seclusion.
Verse 8
jī vīrat dharam vartāviyāH ane simras Surbhāṇ jāṇ; Zikhīsar sarve santokhīH āvī male parmāṇ
English meaning: O brother! simras and Surbhāṇ explained about fast and religious deeds. All the believers kept meeting peacefully.
Verse 9
jī We bangāle dharam sār rachiyā; Jogī sanyāsī aWīt verāgī jāṇ; Teṇe dharam thāpiyo, rākhiyo gubat parmāṇ
English meaning: O brother! Ascetics, mystics, mendicants and celibates administered engal according to religion. They set up faith and kept it discreet.
Verse 10
jī satgur Shams vāchā ochare, Sāmbh܃o manḍhīThārī sarve vīr; sāsWāne sarve soṅpjo, amārī e chhe Thīr
English meaning: O brother! Pir Shams (ra) said͗ ͞O all office bearers of the warehouse! >isten! Submit everything to sasta, this is our instruction͟.
