(Selected Verses) Ejī bāvā mūrakh loke te maram na jāṇiyo, Dharammāṅhe mānḍiyā dhingāṇā dhingāī; Gur pīrno kahiyo nav māniyo, Teṇe nische dozakh kamāī
English meaning: O brother! The ignorant did not understand the essence (and) created discord and made mischief in religion. They did not follow the words of the spiritual guide; they certainly deserved hell.
Ejī āp murādī je koī thayā, Te to mūrakh na vichāre ved; Te māṅhomāṅhe jagḍo karshe, Teṇe na jāṇiyo satnūbhed
English meaning: O brother! Those who became willful, those ignorant do not contemplate upon the vedas. They will quarrel among themselves; they did not understand the essence of truth.
Ejī te velā āvī ḍhūṅkaḍī, Ane jūvā jūvā paḍse bhāg; Athar vedmāṅhe em bhākhiyā, Tame diyo te bhomnū dāg
English meaning: O brother! That time has drawn near and (they) will be divided into different categories. The Athar Veda states: bury (the dead) in the earth.
Ejībhomnū dāg dīdhe bahesht pāmiye, Ane sāheb thāe khūshiyāl; Tenā ekoterso sarage sadhārshe, Te nit karshe shāhānū dīdār
English meaning: O brother! By burying (the dead) in the earth you will attain paradise, and the Lord too will be pleased. Seventy one generations of them will go to heaven and they will always attain the GīGāUof the Lord.
Ejī satgurnū farmāviyo nahīṅkare, Ane duniyāsūṅ lāve neh; Tenā hāth gasantā hāḍnisarse, Ane nīl varaṇī hoese deh
English meaning: O brother! (Those who) will not follow the words of the true guide and will foster the love of the world in their hearts; they will rub their hands (regretfully) so much so that their bones will become exposed and their body will turn blue.
Ejī satgurnū famāviyo jo kījiye, To pāmiye mugat dīdār; Te velā āvī ḍhūṅkaḍī, Tene vilamb nahīṅ re lagār
English meaning: O brother! If you will follow the words of the true guide you will attain salvation and dīdār. That time has drawn near; there is not the slightest delay in this.
Ejī Nabījīnī bārmī sadīnū kol chhe, Tāre momannā kaṭhaṇ thāse man; Te sāchāne to jūṭho kare, Em karīne joḍse dhandh
English meaning: O brother! There is prediction of the Holy Prophet (sallallāhu µalayhi wa ālihi wa sallam) regarding the twelfth century when the hearts of believers will be hardened. They will prove the true to be false and in this way will create mischief.
Ejī tiyāṅ sāchā munivar sat rākhse, Ane jūṭhā thāese dūr; Athar vedne vāeke je chālse, Te to rahese shāhāne hajūr
English meaning: O brother! There the true believers will maintain the truth and the false will be removed. Those who will follow the words of the Athar Veda will remain in the presence of the Lord.
Ejī bhaṇe Sayyad Imām Shāh suṇo re munivaro, Hete prīte milo tame āj; Man māniyū sarve chhoḍso, To sarse tamārā kāj
English meaning: O brother! Sayyid Imam Shah (RA) says: listen O Believers! Meet with love and affection today. If you will give up willfulness then your tasks will be fulfilled.
