Jīre bāi bhāi kā shabad jo sāchā pichhāṇo, To chha māsī hoegī sārī jīre bāi
English meaning: O sister! If you consider your brother’s words as truth then the six monthly ritual (of Duµā ) will be good.

Verse 2
Jīre bāi sāmān sarve āje ja melo, Ham karenge pās beṭhe jīre bāi
English meaning: O sister! Arrange everything today; I will sit nearby and perform the ritual.
Verse 3
Jīre bāi manḍap kāraṇ sarve sāmān melo, Te to melo āṇā ghaḍī jīre bāi
English meaning: O sister! Arrange everything for the canopy; arrange all that at this moment.
Verse 4
Jīre bāi ālas karso to nahīṅ re thāse, Pachhe dos ma dejo kāṅhī jīre bāi
English meaning: O sister! If you will procrastinate then the work will not be done; then do not blame me.
Verse 5
Jīre bāi bhaṇe Sayyad Imām Shāh ham ḍelā mā bese, Tame karo potānī sambhār jīre bāi
English meaning: O sister! Sayyid Imam Shah (R.A.) says that I will sit at the door; you take care of your task.
