Verse 1
Ejī bhāiyar bhāngā ma ṭaḍo, Yār ma boliyo arap māperī; Hin shahje paiyārthī, Yar taḍ vachhuṭe laj; Suṇ vaṇjārḍā ho yār hi man hareḍo tho jūle, Hia man hareḍo tho jūle, yārāchakhe kaḍvi val; Tāṅ toje jīvjo jokho na thie, Yārātoje jīvjo jokho na thie; Hīn jiv sandhe kaj kāṅ kiriyāvāṭ sohelī, Moman bhāī huāho yār hoe
English meaning: O brother! Do not divide yourselves into groups, O dear! Do not talk about others (without thinking), otherwise you will be as deprived of the Lord's nearness as a boat separated from the shore of the sea. O trader friend! This wicked self is occupied with its own mischief. O friend! Taste the bitter plant i.e. bitter medicine so that your soul may not have to face any danger. O friend! To keep your soul free of danger, do some deeds for its sake; then the path will be easier for you. Momins are like that.
Verse 2
Ejīkache māpe maidaḍāyār, Kūḍe tole ḍīn; Hia tinījī vakharḍī yār, Buḍīsāsāin; suṇ«
English meaning: O brother! Those who weigh less by using sub-standard weights will have to bear the loss of the collapse of their own small shop.
Verse 3
Ejīpake māpe maidaḍāyār, Pūre tole ḍīn; Hia tinījī vakharḍī yār, Sahīsalāmat nīn;suṇ
English meaning: O brother! Those who weigh full by using standard weights for weighing are the ones whose shop remain intact.
Verse 4
Ejītūṅ vaṇjāro verālai yār, Achhā vaṇaj karīj; Tunī keṅkhe ma dhutiye yār, Pāṇedhutāij; suṇ«
English meaning: O friend! You have come to do business for a limited period of time. Do clean business. Do not deceive anyone though you yourself may be deceived.
Verse 5
Ejītūṅ vaṇjāro medni yār, Koṭhā to aḍāiye; Sahī sambhūḍo sāthḍo yār, Sāthna sambhāriye; suṇ…
English meaning: O friend! You are a trader in this world and you are constructing buildings. O friend! The group of friends are waiting for you; why are you not preparing yourself to go with them?
Verse 6
Ejīkeḍiyūṅ aḍāiyeṅ gaḍh māḍiyūṅ yār, Keḍā pāiye chitr; Dehī dharīnde dhūḷme, Mathā latunī dinde mitr;s uṇ«
English meaning: O friend! What type of forts and palaces you are building and what type of embellishments and engravings you are making upon them? Your body will be buried in the dust and your relatives will level the dust on your grave with their feet.
Verse 7
Ejī tānge mathe turho yār, Tāṇeto na badho; Jaḍenī laheriye loḷiyo yār, Taḍe tho sambhārie;suṇ«
English meaning: O friend! You used a raft even in the shallow water but you did not tie it firmly. You came to realize this only when you were swayed by the waves.
Verse 8
Ejībeḍinī ḍhoi taḍte yār, Achīsad kande; Ghar bhariyo toje bhānḍue yār, Sehī na halande sāth;suṇ«
English meaning: O friend! The boat is ready on the shore and they will call out to you. Though your whole house will be crowded with relatives, yet they will not accompany you.
Verse 9
Ejīdin guḍhie na chaḍe yār, Toe na pache mās; Jo tū mālak mānyie, Gurnar bheṭe toji ās;suṇ«
English meaning: O friend! Until the essence of religion goes deep inside you, your body will not be cooked. If you will obey your Lord then he will fulfill your wishes.
Verse 10
Ejīno vāṭā nirkhī yār, Doūṅ tū sāre dij; Tūni toje imānse yār, Sahīsalāmātdij; suṇ«
English meaning: O friend! Deduct nine por tions and present the tenth portion with true faith and in a proper manner.
Verse 11
Eji ruḍonī gaḍh amrāpūri yār, Bhāiyar bhāngā bher; Bār karoḍie Shāh Nizār chaḍse, Sahī jāṇo Sadardīn;suṇ«
English meaning: O friend! The fort of heaven is very beautiful, unite those brothers who have been dispersed. Hundred and twenty million saved believers will be with Shah Nizar. Truly accept Pir Sadardin (r.a.). This verse can also be translated as: O friend! The fort of heaven is very beautiful. All those brothers who had been dispersed will unite here. Hundred and twenty million saved believers will be here with Shah Nizar i.e. Pir Sadardin (r.a.). Or the leader of the hundred and twenty million saved belivers Shah Nizar i.e. Pir Sadardin (r.a.) will also mount.
