bhāiyo bharame na bhūlie, virā nav bhūlie Eji bhāiyo bharame na bhūlie, virā nav bhūlie, Samjo satgurni vāṇ kāyā kero jhūpḍo; K āyāmaḍore masāṇ, bhāiyo bharame na bhūlie
English meaning: O Brother! Do not be forgetful in oblivion. O Brother! Do not be forgetful. Understand the words of the Satgur (true guide); the body is like a hut (or shack) and its abode is the crematorium (crematory). O Brothers! Do not be forgetful in oblivion.
Eji kāyā gandi ne gobari, kāyā meli sadāe; Kāyā vaṇse ne saḍe, kāyā bhunḍi gandhāe, B hāiyo
English meaning: O Brother! The body is dirty and full of dung, the body is always filthy. The body gets spoiled and rotten, the body is dirty and smelly.
Eji maḷmutra māṅhe bhariyo, dahāḍe uṭhe durgandh; Upar ālīyo chāmḍo, māṅhe chhe nas jālinā bandh, B hāiyo
English meaning: O Brother! Full of filth, it always stinks. Covered with skin from outside, there is a web of veins and intestines inside.
Eji shukar kahie tātnu, shoṇit mātāni hoi; Upaj eni vichārtā, āve ukḷāṭo joi, bhāiyo
English meaning: O Brother! It is made from (your) father’s sperm and (your) mother’s blood. Thinking of its creation makes one nauseated.
Eji tene tu dhoish kem kari, kāiṅ shudh nav thāe; Nav duvā r nit chūve, māṅhe narag bharāe, Bhāiyo
English meaning: O Brother! How will you wash it? It cannot be cleaned. Nine doors are continuously trickling; inside is full of filth.
Eji kāyā lūlībaheri pāngḷi, koḍhi kushṭi ne andh; N ūr Satgur boliyā, dehino evo sambandh, Bhāiyo
English meaning: O Brother! The body is cri ppled, deaf, invalid, leprous and blind. Pir Satgur Nur (r.a.) says: the bond of the body is like this.
Eji gandi dehithi aḷgā raho, kāḍhi nākhoni kāhār; Jem sarapni kāṅchli, dehithi aḷgi thāe, bhāiyo
English meaning: O brother! Stay aloof from the filthy body; remove all poisonous evil. Just as the snake’s slough is cast off from the body.
Eji kyāṅni dehi kyāṅno ātmā, jenu vār na pār; Gandi dehi ashudh chhe, ātmā chhe shudh sār, B hāiyo
English meaning: O brother! From where is the body and from where is the soul, which has no limits. The filthy body is impure; the soul is pure and chaste.
Eji ātmānirguṇ brahm chhe, dehi chhe tarlāne ghās; N ūr Satgur boliyā, munivar karjo ātmā abhiyās, Bhāiyo
English meaning: O brother! The soul is God Who is beyond all attributes whereas the body is grass and hay. Pir Satgur Nur (r.a.) says: acquire the knowledge of the soul.
