Ejī bhalere bhāī tame karī lio kamāi, Bhāī apnā kiyā tame pāvogere
English meaning: O brother! Earn something. You will be rewarded for deeds you performed.

Verse 2
Ejī apne sāhebjīkū sab kuchh mālūm, Āgaḷ chhupī kiye ghar jāogere
English meaning: O brother! Our Lord knows everything. Later on where will you go and hide?
Verse 3
Ejī jūṭhere pākhanḍe tame kāiṅ rācho, Bhāī mārā phirī phirīne pastāogere
English meaning: O my brother! Why are you indulged in fraud and deceit? You will have to repent repeatedly.
Verse 4
Ejī maesar veḷāmāṅhe ṭhor ja nāhiṅ, Tiyāṅ kiyūṅ karī mukh dikhlāogere
English meaning: O brother! On the Day of Judgment there will be no stability. How will you show your face there?
Verse 5
Eji kāchīre kayā ne koṭ miṭīdā, Māṅhe vimras karī dekhore
English meaning: O brother! Your mortal body is like a fort made of raw clay; contemplate in it and perceive.
Verse 6
Ejī agan pāṇī ebī donū samāyā, Bhāī iyūṅ karī pinḍ nipāyāre
English meaning: O brother! Fire and water both have been included in it. Your body is created in this manner.
Verse 7
Ejī ek kaṇ desho tenā palatra savā lākh lesho, E to nipaṇhārā khālakre
English meaning: O brother! For every grain you give you will receive one hundred and twenty five thousand times in the next world. The Creator is the One who rewards.
Verse 8
Ejī Alīre Mahmad sāchāre kalmā, Bhāī tin binā mokh nāhīṅre
English meaning: O brother! The Kalima of Hazrat Ali (a.s) and Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.s) is the true Kalima. There will be no salvation without them.

Ejī Sayyad Mahmad Shāh sāchūṅre ākhe, Āpṇī kirat kamāi sāth le jāogere
English meaning: O brother! Sayyid Muhammad Shah (r.a.) tells the truth that you will take your earnings with you.
