Ejī bhamar guphāre upar dekhtā, Bhāī kaho kesā gun hoe; Jag mag jot jalhale, Ane vast nūrānī soe
English meaning: O brother! Looking into the cave between the eyebrows what quality can be seen? It is filled with brilliant shimmering light and it is a radiant substance.
Ejī dhīro dhīrore bhāī momano, Ane dhīre te sab kuchh hoe; Mālīre sīṅche so gaṇā, Bhāī rutū binā phal na hoe
English meaning: O momin! Be patient, for through patience everything is possible. The gardener may water the plants abundantly, but no fruit grows without season.
Ejī sharīat hak karī jāṇīe, To turat tarīkat pāe; Hakīkat dilmāṅhe nakshīe, To mārafate milī jāe
English meaning: O brother! Consider Shariat as true and immediately you will discover Tariqat. Imprint Haqiqat on the heart and you will unite with Marifat.
EjīSayyad Mahmad Shāh ākhe ventī, Tame sāmbhḷo rab satār; Hī bando gunehgārhae, Sāiyāṅ bakshīe bakshaṇhār
English meaning: Sayyid Muhammad Shah (r.a.) utters this entreaty: Listen o my Sustainer and the One who covers my defects; this creature is sinful; forgive me, my Lord and Forgiver.
