Verse 1

(Selected verses) jī handrabhāṇ Surbhāṇ be banThvā, gur Shams nā chelā kahevāe; Ek kūle avtār chheH kalinā bhagaW kahevāe; ؽhilḍī nagrī gaḍh besaṇā sāheb rājo karse, rikhiyāne rāj karāe; MaiW dāṇav sarve bhāgseH jīre sāheb āvse

English meaning: O brother! handrabhāṇ and Surbhāṇ who are the devotees of Pir Shams (ra) are both brothers. They are born within one family. They are known as the devotees of Kaliyuga. The lord King will be manifest in a fort in elhi city and will grant rule to the believers. All the enemies of faith will flee. O brother! Mawla will arrive.

Verse 3

jī Tev dāṇave jagḍo mānḍeo, dait manmāṅhe kare vichār; Na dāṇavī karse shāhā proWhamī, dese rikhiyāne rāj; ḍhilḍī nagrī…

English meaning: O brother! War has broken out between the believers and enemies of faith. The enemies of faith think to themselves that the lord will purify the earth of the enemies of faith and grant rule to the believers.

Verse 4

jī Pīr Shams satgur boliyā, momanbhāi tame rahejo husiyār; Traṇ traṇ jug āge vahī gayā, chothā kaljugnī vār; ḍhilḍī nagrī…

English meaning: O brother! Satgur Pir Shams (ra) said͗ O believer brothers! e alert. Three eras have passed, now it is Kaliyuga͛s turn.
