Verse 1

E vīrābhāīchār ghaḍīkāchār jug ja kiyā, Khudāvand sāherkūsuṇāyājī

English meaning: O brother! God made four eras out of four moments; He said to everyone or God said to the wise ones.

Verse 2

E vīrābhāī traṇjugmāṅhe āge dharam ja hotā, Chotho kaljug kaṭhaṇbhāījī

English meaning: O brother! In the first three eras religion was practised; the fourth (and final) era of Kali Yuga is arduous.

Verse 3

E vīrābhāī bāp beṭātyāṅdoe laḍegā, Esānajar tamāshāhoijī

English meaning: O brother! Father and son will both quarrel; such a spectacle will be seen.

Verse 4

E vīrābhāī sāsūkūvahūhisāb pūchhegī, Tame suṇo mārāmoman bhāījī

English meaning: O my believer brother listen! The daughter-in-law will take account of the mother-in-law.

Verse 5

E vīrābhāī ja mīn āsmān tyāṅdoe hasegā, E khudāvand ajab ilāhījī

English meaning: O brother! The earth and the sky will both laugh and say: O God! This is strange.

Verse 6

E vīrābhāī rikhisar man māṅhe khof dharege, Tame suṇo mārāmoman bhāījī

English meaning: O my believer brother list en! The believers will be scared in their hearts.

Verse 7

E vīrābhāī tiskākesāhavāl hoegā, Jine āpṇāamal chalāyājī

English meaning: O brother! What will be the condition of those who were wilful?

Verse 8

E vīrābhāī kāchīkāyātyāṅkuchh na chalegī, Ji māṭīmāṅhe banāijī

English meaning: O brother! This raw body, which is made of clay, will be useless there.

Verse 9

E vīrābhāī tiskāgirabh kiyākaroge, Tame suṇo mārāmoman bhāījī

English meaning: O believer brother listen! Is it anything to be proud of? (or it is nothing to be proud of).

Verse 10

E vīrābhāī ek ghaḍime uṭh chalenge, Bhāīduniyādekhat jāijī

English meaning: O brother! In one momen t you will be carried away; the world will keep on watching.

Verse 11

E vīrābhāī āge khudāvand pūchhengo, Tame kesīsukrit lai āyājī

English meaning: O brother! Later the Lord will ask as to what virtuous deeds have you brought along?

Verse 12

E vīrābhāī tab mārārikhisaro kiyākaroge, Bhāītab kuchh kiyāna jāijī

English meaning: O my believer brother! What will you do at that time? At that time you will be unable to do anything.

Verse 13

E vīrābhāī māl dhan tyāṅhuābirānā, Kuchh liyāsāth na jāijī

English meaning: O brother! There wealth and treasures will not belong to you; nothing could be taken along.

Verse 14

E vīrābhāī pāp pūn doe sāth chalegā, Bhāīnishān vajāijī

English meaning: O brother! Sins and virtuous deeds will go along. O brother! These will be your identification.

Verse 15

E vīrābhāī Pīr Shams kalandar iyūṅja kahiyā, Ya khudāvand tere ant ko ant na pāijī

English meaning: O brother! Pir Shams (r.a.) Qalander says: O Lord! No one knows the limit of your mystery.
