Verse 1

Jīre bāi chetī chālo to kāṅkaṇ bandhāvo, Kāṅkaṇ bāndhī kāṅi nav bolo jīre bāi

English meaning: O sister! Remain vigilant and tie Kā۪ka۬( perform Bay‘at). Do not speak anything after having tied the Kā۪ka۬(performing Bay‘at).

Verse 2

Jīre bāi mahādan chhūṭo to jap tap karjo, Jap tap vinā nahīṅ chhūṭo jīre bāi

English meaning: O sister! If you want salvation in the hereafter then practice dhikr and worship. Without dhikr and worship salvation cannot be obtained.

Verse 3

Jīre bāi āsīs aras kuras nīja bhaṇvī, To āsīs vinā kem oḷkhāṇ āve jīre bāi

English meaning: O sister! Hope for grace and blessings from ‘ Arsh (the throne of Allah) and Kursī (the chair of Allah). How can recognition be obtained without grace and blessings?

Verse 4

Jīre bāi jiyāṅ āvī anant karoḍja malse, Tāre tame kiyāṅ dekhāso jīre bāi

English meaning: O sister! Where countless saved souls will gather, where will you be seen?

Verse 5

Jīre bāi sansār dīn chār hastā ramtā jāse, Imām Shāhā kahe chetī ne chālo jīre bāi

English meaning: O sister! The world is for four days which will pass in laughter and frolic. Imam Shah (R.A.) says: Remain vigilant.
