akha ṇdesmāṅhe ramvā chāliyā Sayyad /mam Shāh (ra):īrebhāire akhaṇ Tesmāṅhe ramvā chāliyā; te Songaḍhmāṅhe āviyājī
English meaning: O brother! For the sake of preaching, he went to the region of eccan (south) and came to Songaḍh.

Verse 2
:īrebhāire Songaḍhmāṅe ame jāine beṭhā; rachnā te rūḍī rachāvījī
English meaning: O brother! We went and settled in Songaḍh and performed virtuous tasks.
Verse 3
:īrebhāire sevak tiyāṅ atī ghaṇā āviyā; Lāchhoḍī gāmmāṅhe sarve huvājī
English meaning: O brother! Many devotees came therein. This all took place in village >āchhoḍī.
Verse 4
:īrebhāire tiyāṅ simras bhagaW Surbhāṇ jāṇo; te kare chhe gur ginān vichārjī
English meaning: O brother! evotees simras and Surbhan are there, they contemplate on the true guide͛s Weachings.
Verse 5
:īrebhāire Pīr Shams tiyāṅ rachanā kiThī; tiyāṅ gur /mam Shāhā āp ja āyājī
English meaning: O brother! Pir Shams (ra) had preached there. Sayyad /mam Shah (ra) himself came there.

:īrebhāire simras Surbhāṇ tyāṅ ja beṭhā; shāhā Shamsnī kare chhe vakhāṇjī
English meaning: O brother! simras and Surbhan are sitting there; (they) are praising Shah Shams (ra).
Verse 7
:īrebhāire lok raiyat tiyāṅ bhirāmaṇ jogīH sarve saWvanWī rūḍā Tisejī
English meaning: O brother! The subjects therein are rahmans and yogis; they all look good and virtuous.
Verse 8
:īrebhāire teṇe amsūṅ baū ādar kariyā; tiyāṅ rayā ame khaṭ māsjī
English meaning: O brother! They showed us great respect; we stayed there for ϲ months.
Verse 9
:īrebhāire tiyāṅ-nā lok te baū maliyā; Mukhī Srisangjī Seṭh Weḍī lāyājī
English meaning: O brother! Many people from that place met (us). Mukhi Sri Sangji Seth brought them along.
Verse 10
:īrebhāire bhaṇe Sayyad /mam Shāhā dharam dhiyāo; satvantī lok saū āvejī
English meaning: O brother! Sayyad /mam Shah (ra) says that act according to religion. All true people will come.
