Eji dasbandhi yārāsirbandhi, Nar Kāyam shāhāni srevā; Tere sir par āyāroj kiyāmat, So din neṇeāyā
English meaning: O brother! Pay Dasond and sacrifice all your belongings. This is the obedience of the Lord Qayam Shah (a.s.). The Day of Judgement is close at hand, that day has come near.
Eji shāh sadājie iyūṅkahiyā, Is kāmārag eh; Bhaṇe Pir Sadardin kahe Pir Kabirdin, Jivan taṇāphal hoe
English meaning: O brother! This is what the Lord has said and this is his way (or path). Pir Sadardin (r.a.) and Pir Kabirdin (r.a.) says: this is the reward of life.
Eji Pir Shams kahe yāro jāṅjio tāṅkariyo āpṇi, Ane mue kuchhu na hoe; Janam gamāyo eṇe gāfale, Bhāic h hāndhe mokh na hoe
English meaning: O brother! Pir Shams (r.a.) says: till you are alive keep on doing something for yourself and after death nothing can be done. That oblivious one wasted his life. O Brother! Salvation cannot be obtained by hiding the truth.
Eji Pir Shams kahe yar gāfal thāeso to hārso, Ane ahonis jāgo mārāvir; Kroḍi tetrissūṅmeḍāmiḍo, Em boliyāShams Pir
English meaning: O brother! Pir Shams (r.a.) says: if you will become oblivious you will lose O my brother! Always be vigilant. Pir Shams (r.a.) says: In this way you will join the three hundred and thirty million (thirty three crore) saved momins.
Eji Pir Shams kahe yāro āk aljug chhe vikh ḍo, Bhāi mintar kartājoe; Jis gale dijie bāvḍi, So phir kar veri hoe
English meaning: O brother! Pir Shams (r.a.) says: this Kaliyuga is much arduous. Make a friend and see. Whom you befriend will turn into an enemy.
Eji Pir Shams kahe yārātāṇso to truṭse, Ane ḍhilḍāmel ma tāṇ; Āp gamto āvse, Jem tarasiyo āve nirvāṇ
English meaning: O brother! Pir Shams (r.a.) says: if you will stretch it will snap; do not stretch it, loosen it. He will come by himself, as a thirsty approaches the water.

English meaning: O brother! Pir Shams (r.a.) says: a grindstone makes a sword glitter and water makes clothes sparkle. In the same way ginans illumine believers. Thus says
Eji Pir Shams kahere khaḍkhaḍiyo na bāvre, Ane varoḍie phal na hoe; Gidaṇbāṇna nākhie, Bhāi khalḍi mās na hoe
English meaning: O brother! Pir Shams (r.a.) says: do not cultivate on grassy land because such land will bear no fruit. Do not shoot an arrow at a jackal; there is only hide (and) no flesh in it.
Eji Pir Shams kahe yāro ugamiyo so āthameo, Ane kāyānu na kije visvās; Traṇtruṭe chhāyo paḍe, Bhāi khaṇkhaṇhoe viṇās
English meaning: O brother! Pir Shams (r.a.) says: what rises will set and do not trust the body at all. When (the vigor of) youth is lost, it weakens. O brother, it gradually perishes.
Eji Pir Shams chāliyāchatūr des re, Ane sāmi tamāri amne ās; Uṇāpurāāsvantā, Sāmi sab langāie pār
English meaning: O brother! Pir Shams (r.a.) went forth in all directions; O Lord! We cherish hopes of you alone. The perfect, the imperfect, the hopeful – O Lord! Save them.
