Verse 1

(Selected Verses) Jīrebhāīre dhan ho rikhīsar tame tīrath nāyā, Gur abhiyāgat tam ghar bhale āyā

English meaning: O believers! Felicitations that you have bathed at tirth (holy places). Be well that the guest, true guide, has arrived in your house.

Verse 2

Jīrebhāīre pāval pāī pīre pherā chhoḍāviyā, Shāhānā nūrmāṅhe nūr samāṇā

English meaning: O brother! By offering the nectar ( āE-e-shafa), the true guide has freed (you) from the cycle of birth and rebirth. The QūU(light) merged into the light of the Lord.

Verse 3

Jīrebhāīre srī rang rūḍā rikhīsar rācho, Māṅhe rangāvo e rang sār

English meaning: O dear believers! Color yourself with the color of the Lord. Also color your inner self with the best colors.

Verse 4

Jīrebhāīre jīvḍāne kāje tame satpanthmāṅe āviyā, Tame jūo jūo ginān vīchārī

English meaning: O brother! You have come into Satpanth (the true path) for the sake of your soul; reflect on ginan and see (verify).

Verse 5

Jīrebhāīre dīdhī vāchā gur bhirmājīsūṅ pāro, Nahīṅkā pharso dūjī vār

English meaning: O brother! Fulfill the promise given to the Guru Brahma; otherwise you will have to come again.

Verse 6

Jīrebhāīre gur abhiyāgat tame sācho karī jāṇo, Have sīṅchjo dharamnā kiyārā

English meaning: O brother! Consider the guest spiritual master as true; now water the flower-beds of religion.

Verse 7

Jīrebhāīre halatra kamāvo tame palatra dhiyāvo, Have āviyā maraṇ kerā vārā

English meaning: O brother! Earn virtue in this world and also be desirous of the Hereafter; now the time of death is well nigh.

Verse 8

Jīrebhāīre hūṅ tuj pūchhūṅmārā nūr satgur mārā jīvūṅnā pīr, Marṇā bhalā ke jīvṇā

English meaning: O my Nur Satgur! O the guide of my soul! I am asking you whether living is better or dying.

Verse 9

Jīrebhāīre marṇe pelā je koī marī marī jāṇe, Phir marṇā tīse kesā

English meaning: O brother! One who knows to die before death, for him what is the need of dying again?

Verse 10

Jīrebhāīre rang kasūmbe bāvā je jīv rāche, Tene bhrānt ghaṇerī

English meaning: O brother! The one who is colored in kusum (a color which is not fast), he is in too much doubt.

Verse 11

Jīrebhāīre rang surangī āpṇe gurnarsūṅ rācho, Tāsūṅ nehechal lāge tāḷī

English meaning: O brother! Get colored in the lovely colors of the true guide; then a constant love will rise (in the heart).

Verse 12

Jīrebhāīre dasond dhaṇīnī tame dhaṇīne soṅpo, Kāṅe tame gharmāṅhe rākho ḍhāḷī

English meaning: O brother! Offer dasond, the right of the Lord, to the Lord. Why do you keep it hidden in your house?

Verse 13

Jīrebhāīre kasoṭiye jem sonū kasīje, Tem kāyānū hans kasāvo

English meaning: O brother! As gold is tested on the touchstone, similarly test the soul of your body.

Verse 14

Jīrebhāīre agam agochar jug jugotar, Dharam satpanth eṇe gure dekhāḍiyā

English meaning: O brother! (The one) who is incomprehensible and invisible, that same guide has shown the Satpanth (the true path) in every era.

Verse 17

Jīrebhāīre narne parsāde Pīr bhaṇāve Sadardin, Āpṇe sāhebjīsūṅ rākho het hiyārī

English meaning: O brother! With the ble ssings of the Imam, Pir Sadardin (RA) says: foster love and affection for your Lord.
