Verse 1
Ejīduniyāprīt na kijiye, Ane rākho dīnsūṅneh; Duniyādin chār chhe. Ane dīn na deve chheh
English meaning: O brother! Do not love the world, keep love for religion. The world will last for four days; the religion will not deceive you.

Verse 2
Ejīsansārmāṅhe ek man kijiye, Temāna kije bhrānt; Jap tap satnūkijiye, To sāhebsūṅhoe ekānt
English meaning: O brother! In the world be contemplative, do not doubt it. Perform intense prayers of truth then privacy with the Lord will be obtained.
Verse 3
Ejīmanmāṅhe mindar chaṇāviye, Ane manmāṅhe sarve kuchh jāṇ; Manni māḷāpheriye, Ane mansūṅpūj parmāṇ
English meaning: O brother! Make your heart the abode of the Lord and understand that everything is in the heart. Use the rosary of the heart and worship the Lord from the heart.
Verse 4
Ejīmanmādeval jāṇiye, Ane manmāṅhe ghaṭparmāṇ; Manmā kumbhnīthāpnākijiye, To satgur bheṭyājāṇ
English meaning: O brother! The heart is the abode of God and within the heart is the true Ghaṭ(bowl). Perform the ritual of Ghaṭpāṭwithin the heart then will (you) meet the true spiritual guide.

Ejījāher manḍhībāndhiy e, Ane manmāṅhe vasiye vās; Satīshīlvant āvi male, Pūre mannīās
English meaning: O brother! Make a place of worship in actuality and give it a place within the heart. True believers will come and meet, and the hope s of the heart will be fulfilled.
Verse 6
Ejīsatī shīlvant te kahiye, Jeno sāhebsūṅdhiyān; Te satīsarav kahiye, Jene haiye hirakh ne mān
English meaning: O brother! True believers are those whose thoughts are attached to the Lord. He is a perfect believer in whose heart there is happiness and respect.
Verse 7
Ejīāshāteni pūrīpaḍe, Ane pūrī gurnīvāch; Man ichchhātenāthayā, Ane jugmāṅhe chālīsāṅkh
English meaning: O brother! His hopes are fulfilled and the promise of the spiritual guide is fulfilled. Whatever his heart desired was attained and his credit was established in the world.
Verse 8
Ejīpurakh nārīek chhe, Ane jhujhvāchhe ghāṭ; Hālo chālo sarve ek chhe, Sahūdharamnīvāṭ
English meaning: O brother! Men and women are one (alike) but there is a difference in their forms. On the path of religion their mode of action is the same.
Verse 9
Ejīsahūsatne mārage chālo, Pīr Shams kahe sāchīsāṅkh; Dasond dān gurmukhe ālsho, To tyāṅmale eknāsa vālākh
English meaning: O brother! Everybody remain steady on the path of truth, Pir Shams (r.a.) bears true evidence. (If you will) offer Dasond in the presence of the spiritual guide then you will be rewarded one hundred and twenty five thousand times more there.
