Ejī duniyā sirjīne shāh more anna upāyājī, Pavan pāṇī paedā kīdhājī
English meaning: O brother! My Lord, having created this world, produced food. He also created air and water.

Verse 2
Ejī kahore jīv tame kis kāraṇ āyājī, Na kīdhī sāhebjīnī srevājī
English meaning: O man! If you did not worship the Lord then say, why have you come?
Verse 3
Ejī duniyāno lobh jīvḍo karvāne lāgojī, Duniyāne lobhe bharame bhūlojī
English meaning: O brother! Man became greedy of this world and in the greed of this world he forgot his purpose.
Verse 4
Ejī bhūlo te māthāno bhejo kāne nīsarsejī, Til tilnā lekhā sāheb leshejī
English meaning: O brother! If you forget, then the brain of your head will flow out of the ears and the Lord will take account of every little thing.
Verse 5
Ejī soho soho karaṇīe tiyāṅ sūraj tapshejī, Maī na kaheve pūtra merājī
English meaning: O brother! (On that day) the sun will blaze with hundred fold heat and mother will not say that this is my son.
Verse 6
Ejī jumlojī pūchhe āpṇā jīvunā pīrnejī, Amrapūrīnā ghar chhe kevājī
English meaning: O brother! The Jamat asks the Pir of the souls as to how are the houses of paradise.
Verse 7
Ejī sonānī iṅṭaḍiyū ne rūpānā thambhjī, Sāv kastūrī kerā gārājī
English meaning: O brother! The bricks (of those houses) are of gold, pillars are of silver and the plaster is of pure musk.
Verse 8
Ejī evā evā mahol āpṇe sāhebe upāyājī, Karṇi kamāvo to e ghar pāmoji
English meaning: O brother! Such are the mansions our Lord has built. Do good deeds so that you earn such mansions.
Verse 9
Ejī bhaṇe Pīr Sadardīn suṇo gatiyūṅ momanojī, Karṇī kamāvo to evā phal pāmoji
English meaning: Pir Sadardin (r.a.) says: O Jamat of momins listen! Do good deeds so that you earn such rewards.
