jī evā avtāre avtār avWariyā, ane bhagat rūpe parmāṇ; Te vaikunṭh ghar jāi vasiyāH māṇas rūp dhariyā jāṇ
English meaning: O brother! /n this way (simras and Surbhāṇ) came in each era in the guise of devotees. They went and stayed in paradise and were manifest in the form of human beings.
jī gurnā vachan chit rākhseH ane bhagWī rūp parmāṇ; Māṇasmāṅhe TevWāH We sahī karī jāṇ
English meaning: O brother! Whosoever will keep the true guide͛s words in his mind for obedience, consider him an angel among humans in the true sense.
jī bhagaW Wethī upnāH ane va܃ī jene sūje veT; Satgurnī sāṅkh vinā, je bole te chhed
English meaning: O brother! evotees are born in this manner and they understand the sedas as well. One who speaks without the authority of the true guide is lost.
jī ṭanksārī mohor te kahīeH ane je shāstre hoe parmāṇ; Satgurnī sāṅkh vināH We sarve phokaṭ jāṇ
English meaning: O brother! onsider them as a seal of the mint and then the religious books also give evidence in their favor. Without the true guide͛s authority everything is useless.
jī veT vachan saW karī mānie, ane gurnā elam vichār; SaWpanthī saWe chāljo, to utarso pele pār
English meaning: O brother! Zegard the teachings of the sedas as true and act on the knowledge of the true guide. O follower of the right path! Zemain on the right path, then you will reach the other shore.
jī elam sāstra gur mukhnā, ane gur boleā ginān; Te je saW karī mānse, teno sahī Whāese kām
English meaning: O brother! Whosoever will regard the knowledge coming from the mouth of the true guide, and all the knowledge spoken by him, as true, all his works will be accomplished.
jī saWnī vāṭe va܃gī rahīeH va܃ī Tānat rākhī joe; Satgur tene hajūr chhe, amrāpūrī pohoṅche soe
English meaning: O brother! /f one holds on to the path of truth and his intentions are also right, then the true guide is always with him, and he will reach paradise.
jī dharam gubat atī dohelūṅ, te to koī na jāṇe bheT; simras Surbhāṇ bhagaW chheH Weni sāṅkh pūre chhe ved
English meaning: O brother! The esoteric religion is very arduous, none understands its mystery. simras and Surbhāṇ are devotees and the evidence is in the sedas.
jī veT vachan gur taṇāH ane samje We sāchā soe; Sāch vinā nahīṅ āvseH kūḍā na pāve koe
English meaning: O brother! /f you understand the sayings and teachings of the true guide then they are true. Eothing will be achieved without truth; liars do not achieve anything.
jī kūḍe shāhā na pāeāH ane va܃ī sāchā satgur jāṇ; VeT vachan gur taṇāH sau rade rākho parmāṇ
English meaning: O brother! The deceivers did not obtain Mawla; the true guide is true. Keep the sayings and teachings of the true guide in your heart.
jī kaheā gurjīnā na māneH va܃ī na māne veTnī vāt; Te ante rahese vegḍa, te gurjīnā nahīṅ sangāW
English meaning: O brother! Whosoever does not listen to the sayings of the true guide nor adheres to the commands of the sedas will eventually remain far. He will not be the companion of the true guiTe.

English meaning: O brother! We Pir Shams (ra) have come and we will go to hch Multan. Pir Shams (ra) says all of you act according to the knowledge of the true guide.
