Verse 1

Gaṭgurujīgaṭgurujī, dharam sanch rahyā

English meaning: The true guide is seated in the heart, (he) is taking care of the religion.

Din pune din pune madhe janam liyā, Hāre janam liyā

English meaning: Man is born for the period of a few days or is born in the last age.

Verse 3

Gur gol gur gol kancholḍe mukh dhariyā, Hāre mukh dhariyā

English meaning: The spiritual guide dissolved (in) the bowl and granted it to us, yes, granted it.

Verse 4

Mukh māme mukh māmero nujre hath dhariyā, Hāre hath dhariyā

English meaning: I took it with my hands and touched it to my mouth, yes, indeed took it with my hands.

Verse 5

Dasvand dasvand sāhebjīe sir dhariyā, Hāre sir dhariyā

English meaning: The Lord made Dasond obligatory upon us, yes, indeed made it obligatory.

Sāheb deve sāheb deve, bando de na sagandā, Hāre de na sagandālobhe paḍīyā

English meaning: The Lord gives, the Lord gives, man cannot give, he cannot give. He is drowned in greed.

E bhulāvaṇe e bhulāvaṇe chit na ghatiyā, Hāre chit na ghatiyā

E terīve e terī, umar viyāṇīyāe viyāṇīyā

English meaning: Doing this your life passed away, life passed away.

Jīv chal diyāpinḍbhanj diyā, Huṇkiu pachhṭāvṇāep a c h hṭāvṇā

English meaning: The soul flew away and the body collapsed. Why are you repenting now? Why are you repenting?

Pīr boliyāShams jādhe chhūe tā dharam Pichhāṇṇā,e Pichhāṇṇā

English meaning: Pir Shams (r.a.) says that till you are alive recognize the religion, comprehend religion.
