Verse 1

(Garbi) Gur āvtāsarve rāt ke, Gināns uṇāvtā re lol

English meaning: The spiritual guide came every night and narrated the ginan.

Verse 2

Toe murakh na suṇe gemār ke, Kāne beriyā re lol

English meaning: Then too the ignorant and the foolish did not listen, they are deaf of ears.

Verse 3

Gur boliyāmiṭhā bol ke, Sāmbhḷo sārthi re lol

English meaning: The spiritual guide spoke sweet words. Listen O brothers (or listen attentively).

Verse 4

Tame kāeṅ karo chho juṭhā khel ke, Jāṇo nav juṭhkū re lol

English meaning: Why are you playing this false game? Why do you not recognize the falsehood?

Tame srevo sācho nām ke, Nar nakalanki taṇo re lol

English meaning: Remember that true name of Nar Nakalanki i.e. Ali (a.s.).

Jeṇe arash kurasne rākhiyāem ke, Sarve upāeyā re lol

English meaning: He kept the divine Throne and the Chair in their place and created all things.

Jeṇe chandar suraj sirajiyā sār ke, Pavan pāṇiyā re lol

English meaning: He created the moon, s un, wind and the water.

Verse 8

Evā karjo āchhā kām ke, Chokhāi āpṇi re lol

English meaning: In this way do good deeds wherein lies our purity.

Verse 9

Tame k āeṅna jāṅo satpanth dharam ke, Ridāmāṅhe juṭhiyāre lol

English meaning: Why do you not understand the religion of Satpanth (true path)? There is falsehood in your heart.

Tame kūḍ kapaṭne nākho bāhār ke, Ruḍāi āpṇi re lol

English meaning: Remove falsehood and deceit, for threin lie our betterment.

Tame dhiyāvo te dharam āchār ke, Gur bhirmājine re lol

English meaning: Act upon religious deeds (and) obey Gur Brahma.

Jenu nām Mahammad nūr te, Ākhar ambiyā re lol

English meaning: Whose name is Muhammad-th e Nur (light), who is the last Prophet (s.a.s.).

Tame samaraṇ teni karjo sār ke, Mawla Ali mānjo re lol

English meaning: Remember him well and be lieve in Mawla Ali (a.s.).

Jenu hājar jomo kahie nām ke, ShāhāNizāriyā re lol

English meaning: Whose name is Hazar Imam (the present manifestation) who is Shah Nizar (a.s.).

English meaning: You will reach the other shore and will go to paradise.

Em boliyā gur Shams Pir ke, Dasonde sudhā raho re lol

English meaning: In this way Pir Shams (r.a.) says: be perfect in paying Dasond.
