Verse 1

(Garbi-3) Gur āviyā biji rāt ke, Āvi nāchiyā re lol

English meaning: The Pir came on the second night and danced.

Verse 2

Tāre boliyā miṭhā bol ke, Amrat vāṇiyā re lol

English meaning: At that time he narrated sweet nectar like words.

Verse 3

Tame suṇjo sarve sāth ke, Cheti chāljo re lol

English meaning: All of you listen together and act vigilantly.

Verse 4

E to sārā makar chhe bharpūr ke, Nisṭe jāṇjo re lol

English meaning: Believe it that all this is full of fraud.

Verse 5

Tame manmāṅhe kariyo vichār ke, Pathar sūṅhase re lol

English meaning: Did you think in your heart as to what can a stone be?

Verse 6

Tame sirevo sāheb sirjaṇhār ke, Draḍh visvāsiyā re lol

English meaning: With perfect faith obey the Lord, Who is the Creator.

Verse 7

Jeṇe sirji chāre hi khāṇke, Jiv ja nākhiyā re lol

English meaning: Who created all the four s tages of creation and put life into them.

Verse 8

Jeṇe kidhā te bhagatunā kām ke, Jugājug āviyā re lol

English meaning: Who came in each era and accomplished the task of the devotees.

Verse 16

Āj Kaljugmāṅhe karoḍ bār ke, Satiyā sāchsūṅre lol

English meaning: Today in Kaliyuga hundred and twenty million (twelve crore) were saved, who were truly devotees.

Verse 17

Pachhe chheli sandhe munivar vīr ke, Anant ugārse re lol

English meaning: Then in the last era, O believer brother! He will save countless souls.

Verse 18

Em boliyā gur Shams Pir ke, Sate sudhā raho re lol

English meaning: In this way Pir Shams (r.a.) said: Remain steadfast with truth.
