Gur Avea Satmi Rat (Garbi - 13)

Verse 1

(Garbi-13) Gurji āviyāsātmi rāt ke, Nāche bahūrange re lol

English meaning: The Pir came on the seventh night and danced exuberantly.

Verse 2

Tiyāṅsarve nagarnāmaliyālok ke, Nāche gur sange re lol

English meaning: There all the people of the city met and danced with the Pir.

Verse 3

Gur Shamse kanthiyāginān ke, Ati ghaṇābhāvthi re lol

English meaning: Pir Shams (r.a.) narrated the ginan with much affection and love.

Verse 4

Ratan jugnākari vistār ke, Suṇo sarve sārthire lol

English meaning: Narrated the details of Ra tan Yuga, listen attentively.

Verse 11

Pir Sadardin sāthe malse sār ke, Bārk a r oḍiyāre lol

English meaning: The Hundred and twenty million (twelve crore) saved souls will also be gathered together with Pir Sadardin (r.a.).

Verse 12

Gur Hasan Shāhāsāthe anant karoḍ, Jeṇe ved parmāṇiyāre lol

English meaning: The countless (saved souls) will meet with Pir Hassan Shah (r.a.), who acted according to the Vedas.

Verse 13

Tiyāṅmalse sarve pekāmbar ke, Savālākh sārthi re lol

English meaning: At that time one hundred and twenty five thousand messengers will gather.

Verse 14

Tiyāṅhājar sarve Huseni ke, Vuṭhānūr thaki re lol

English meaning: There all the Hussainis will gather and will be refulgent with Light. Yuga.

Verse 15

Ratan jugnā suṇi vistār ke, Sahu acharat thayā re lol

Verse 16

Paṇna jāṇe khel gurjināthāe, Sahu gaflate mohi rahiyāre lol

English meaning: But they did not understand the play of the Pir and all were engrossed (or lost) in oblivion.

Verse 17

Garbie varatiyo je je kār ke, Ochhav mangalāre lol

English meaning: With the Garbi there was (a feeling of) victory and it became an auspicious occasion.

Verse 18

Em sāri rāt thayo ānand ke, Savāre sahu gayāre lol

English meaning: In this way there were felicitations the whole night and everyone returned in the morning.

Verse 19

Teni charchānagarmāṅhe ati thāe ke, Sau jaṇdekhvāre lol

English meaning: In the city there was much publicity about it and all came to see.

Verse 20

Em boliyāgurji Shams Pir ke, Khel rachāviyāre lol

English meaning: In this way Pir Shams (r.a.) said that such a play was enacted.
