Verse 1

Eji hardam dharie dhiyān ajapiyātaṇo, Eji dhiyān dharine man vash rākho ji, Satgur taṇi laie sān, ajapiyātaṇo

English meaning: O brother! Always concentrate on Ajapiy āJāp i.e. the unuttered word. O brother! Concentrate and control the mind; obtain understanding from the Satgur.

Verse 2

Eji sān guruki lai ghaṭmāṅhe rākho ji, Nechal thai dharie dhiyān, ajapiyātaṇo

English meaning: O brother! Keep the understanding obtained from the Pir in your heart. Be firm and concentrate.

Verse 3

Eji gupat ghaṭmāṅhe samaraṇkarjo ji, Koi na suṇe kānokān, ajapiyātaṇo

English meaning: O brother! Remember (the Name) secretly in the heart, no one should hear it even faintly.

Verse 4

Eji inglāpinglāsukhmanānāḍi ji, Traveṇike tir par makān, ajapiyā taṇo

English meaning: O brother! The position of all the three nerves i.e. Inglā, Pingl āand Sukhman āis at the point of the Triveṇi.

Verse 5

Eji bhamar guphāupar pargaṭbeṭho ji, Tiyāṅjāi khoḍe nishān, ajapiyā taṇo

English meaning: O brother! He is sitting manifestly in the innermost core of the forehead. Go there and hit the mark.

Verse 6

Eji nishān khoḍo to didār loṇo ji, Miṭjāve janamnāch ahen, ajapiyā taṇo

English meaning: O brother! If you will aim at the target then you will obtain Didar; the misery of death and re-birth will come to an end.

Verse 7

Eji janam maraṇkā sarve bhae bhānge ji, Beṭhā pive amrat pān, ajapiyā taṇo

English meaning: O brother! All the fear of birth and death will be over; he will sit back and continuously partake of the life giving nectar.

Verse 8

Eji amrat pive so jugājug jive ji, Vaikunṭhp āve ve mān, ajapiyātaṇo

English meaning: O brother! Whoever partakes of the life giving nectar lives on for ages and ages. He obtains reverence in paradise.

Verse 9

Eji sāmi hūṅchhūṅdāsi mune darshanni āshāji, Sāmi māri venti dharjo kān, ajapiyātaṇo

English meaning: O Lord! I am your slave and I yearn for Didar. O Lord! Consider my entreaty.

Verse 10

Eji kar joḍi Imām Begam vinve ji, Gur parsāde bolūṅginān, ajapiyātaṇo

English meaning: O brother! Sayyida Imam Begum (r.a.) entreats with folded hands. With the blessings of the Pir, I recite the ginan.
