Verse 1

Ejī hardam karo abhiyās, karīne dekhojī. Ejī damo dam mārā sāmīne srevojī, S āmī māro chhe tamāre pās, karīne dekhojī

English meaning: O brother! Always contemplate. O brother! Remember my Lord in every breath. My Lord is very near to you.

Verse 2

Ejī pās chhe sāmīnahīṅhae khāmījī, Tame puro r ākhjo visvās, karīne dekhojī

English meaning: O brother! There is no doubt that the Lord is very near. Have complete faith in this.

Verse 3

Ejītamāro sāmītam māṅhe emaj beṭhojī, Jiyūṅ hae phūlū māṅhe vās, karīne dekhojī

English meaning: O brother! Your Lord is in you as the fragrance in the flower.

Verse 4

Ejī rome rome māro sā Pī rājo beṭhojī, Chaitan pur ūsh avīnāsh, karīne dekhojī

English meaning: O brother! My Lord is in every hair of my body. He is Ever-living and Imperishable.

Verse 5

Ejījeṇe jīve āpṇoāp nahīṅ chetiyojī, Te jug māṅhe thai gayānirāsh, karīne dekhojī

English meaning: O brother! Those who did not take care of themselves they became disappointed in this world.

Verse 6

Ejī brahm ginān māṅhe hardam rahejo jī, Karjo āpṇo abhiyās, karīne dekhojī

English meaning: O brother! Always remain engrossed in the divine knowledge and contemplate on yourself.

Verse 7

Ejīajampiyā jāp bhāi jis ghaṭ bhītarjī, Sohi gha ṭ hoeshe ujāsh, karīne dekhojī

English meaning: O brother! The heart in which there is silent remembrance (unpronounced zikr) that heart will be enlightened.

Verse 8

Ejīghaṭ ujāsho pāpthi nāsojī, S āmīne japo sās usās, karīne dekhojī

English meaning: O brother! Illuminate your heart, run away from sin; remember the Lord in every breath.

Verse 9

Ejīkahet Imām Begam je nar karshejī, Te pāmshe vaikuṅṭh vās, karīne dekhojī

English meaning: O brother! Sayyida Imam Begum (r.a.) says: He who will act on these will receive the eternal abode.
