Ejī het gurnarsūṅ kījīe, ane sācho man patī lāe; Sācho satgur srevīe, to jīv amrāpūrī jāe
English meaning: O brother! Keep love for the true guide and have firm conviction in your heart. If you follow the true guide your soul will reach the abode of eternity.
Ejī amrāpūrī to pāmīe, jo satgur sāthī hoe; Satgur vīna mugti na pāmīe, Jo ilam bahot paḍiyā hoe
English meaning: O brother! You will attain the abode of eternity when the true guide will be with you. Without the true guide you will not attain salvation, no matter how much knowledge you have.
Ejī Azāzīl firasto buzrag kahīe, ane ilam paḍiyo apār; Tene bhed na liyo satgur taṇo, to gayo goḍ andhār
English meaning: O brother! Angel Az āzīl was very honoured and had unlimited knowledge. He did not understand the secret of the true guide so he went into deep darkness.
Ejī sāmī hardam hāzar chhe, ane nūr antar āe; Jo sān āve satgur taṇī, to partak sohī pāe
English meaning: O brother! The Lord is always present and His light is manifest in the heart. But only he finds him present who has the good fortune of recognizing him.
Ejī partak dūdh māṅhe girat chhe, Paṇ manthiyo pargaṭ thāe; Satgur kahe mārā munīvaro, gur vinā dozakhe jāe
English meaning: O brother! He is as present as the ghee (butter) in the milk but it is manifested after having churned. The true guide says: O my momins listen! Without the guide you will go to hell.
Ejī satgursūṅ neh kījīe, to sukhsūṅ utri jāe; Gur bina je vāṭe chāliyā, te buḍā sansār māṅhe
English meaning: O brother! Keep love with the true guide and you will reach the shore peacefully. Those who treaded the path without the guide they were drowned in this world.
Ejī satgur sāthi kijīe, to ṭaḷe sarve janjāḷ; Pīr Sadardīn em boliyā, Tame rākho ridā māṅhe vichār
English meaning: O brother! Make the true guide your companion so that all sorrows and confusions are eliminated. Pir Sadardin (r.a.) says: Ponder on this in your heart.
