Jīrevīrā hūṅbalhārīgur āpṇe, pīr āpṇe, Jeṇe dekhāḍiyāāvāsat dharam, sat dharam

English meaning: O brother! I sacrifice my life for my pir who has shown me such true religion.

Verse 2

Jīrevīrā nahīṅ re vichhoḍoāgaḷ momano, Bhāi momano, T ārā jugni potī chhe sandh, vīrā sandh

English meaning: O brother! After this, there is no separation ahead; the end of your life has come.

Verse 3

Jīrevīrā t ūre vaṇjāro moman medani, Moman medani, T ārādilmākarje vichār, e vichār

English meaning: O brother! You are like a businessman in this concourse; think over this in your heart.

Verse 4

Jīrevīrā bālpaṇmā sāmī rājo sirevīe, jeṇe sirevīyā, Teno jīv sāhebsūṅmeḍāmile, e meḍāmile

English meaning: O brother! Obey the Lord from childhood. He who does it, his soul joins his Lord.

Verse 5

Jīrevīrā je ṇƝ jīve ā jug sandheā,jeṇe sandheā, Tene loṇio āre sansār, e sansār

English meaning: O brother! Those who kept their attachment with this world they earned this world.

Verse 6

Jīrevīrāluṇio khetra na ṭoie, e na ṭoie, Te par lok hase sab koi, e sab koi

English meaning: O brother! Do not protect the field the harvest of which has been reaped. People will laugh on that.

Verse 7

Jīrevīrā lobh tu mel īne sagio, e na sagio, Tu ne mi ṭho te lāgo āre sansār, e sansār

English meaning: O brother! You could not shun greed; you found this world so sweet

Verse 8

Jīrevīrājem rūe bālā pumbaḍā, e pumbaḍā, Tem rovengo āre sansār, e sansār

English meaning: O brother! The whole world will cry (on the Day of Judgment) like the crying of small children.

Verse 9

Jīrevīrā s āyar vohoṇā rūve māchhlā, Rūve māchhlā, Tene āviyo chhe kāḷ, vīrā kāḷ

English meaning: O brother! Without the sea the fishes cry because it is the time of their death.

Verse 10

-īUHYīUā pān vīnā sīyā rūkhḍā, sīyā rūkhḍā, Tenīchhāeṅ na bese koi, e na koi

English meaning: O brother! What is a tree without leaves? Nobody sits in its shade.

Verse 11

-īUHYīUāginān vinā sīya momanā sīya momanā, Tene muā pachhī mokh na hoe, e na hoe

English meaning: O brother! What is momin without knowledge? He will not get salvation after death.

-īUHYīUā kāeṅ na ruvo āpṇā jīvne, āpṇā jīvne, Tame mūva pachhī kāhe karsho, e karsho

English meaning: O brother! Why don’t you worry about your soul? What will you do after death?

-īUHYīUā phīre halkārāsachā kāyamī, sachā kāyamī, Tame cheto chetaṇhār, chetaṇhār

English meaning: O brother! The proclaimer of the Lord is on his beat. Be careful! O ye who become careful.

-īUHYīUā dīpjampūme ek būṭīyā, ek būṭīyā, Tene hae koi rākhaṇhār, rākhaṇhār

English meaning: O brother! There is a herb in the Indian subcontinent, is there anyone who can keep it?

Verse 15

-īUHYīUā rākhaṇhāro dhaṇī āvshe, dhaṇī āvshe, Tame parkho te parkha ṇhār, parkhaṇhār

English meaning: O brother! The keeper Lord will come. Recognize him, O ye who recognize.

Verse 16

-īUHYīUā Pīr Sadardīn boliyāventīe ventī, Tame japjo sāhebjīnu nām, sāhebjīnu nām

English meaning: O brother! Pir Sadardin (r.a.) most humbly says that remember the name of the True Lord.
