Verse 1

hūṅ balhari tame shāh rājā Pīr Nasirdin (r.a.) Eji hūṅbalhari tame shāh rājā, Rājāhet dharine jug bāndho ji

English meaning: O Lord King! I sacrifice myself for you. O Lord! With love you set up this world.

Verse 2

Eji nahiṅkuchh diaṇāto nahiṅkuchh liaṇā, Bhāiv aṇre vāve kem luṇso ji

English meaning: O brother! If (you) will give nothing then (you) will get nothing. O brother! Without sowing how will you reap the crop?

Verse 3

Eji puraṇkhādhe toi na dharāṇā, Tame mat re khāo shahki gunj ji

English meaning: O brother! After eating everything you are not satiated yet. O brother! Do not usurp the rights of the Lord.

Verse 4

Eji miṭhḍe khādhe hoeshe kaḍvāi, Bhai mat re khāo jiv lobhe ji

English meaning: O brother! The result of eating sweet will be bitter. O brother! Do not devour all this in greed.

Verse 5

Eji dasond khādhe ranjat hoese, To tame kiyāre liyāshāhānām ji

English meaning: O brother! You will suffer if you devour Dasond. Then what does it matter if you remembered the name of the Lord.

Verse 6

Eji shāhājikānāle ek nivālā, So andhe kāṭi lai khāyāji

English meaning: O brother! A morsel on the name of Lord; that heedless (or blind) devoured it.

Verse 7

Eji chor ke nāle pakaḍlai āyā, Tene koi na kev e jiv sādh ji

English meaning: O brother! He will be arrested and brought like a thief. No one will speak well of him.

Verse 8

Eji tatiyā thambhiyā tene bath bharāvshe, Bhāi kuṅk kare jiv ḍāḍhā ji

English meaning: O brother! He will be made to embrace a burning pillar; he will scream and shout much.

Verse 9

Eji jem ghaḍulājai māṅhe kuā, Tem āp galāgal bāndhiyāji

English meaning: O brother! Just as a pitcher is hung in a well, in the same way he will be hung by the neck.
