Verse 1

E vīrābhāi husiyārā bhāi husiyārā; kaljug jamānā khoṭājī

English meaning: O brother! e vigilant! e vigilant! The era of Kaliyuga is false.

Verse 2

E vīrābhāi pīr murīd donoṅ laḍenge; bāpkū māre beṭājī

English meaning: O brother! The spiritual guide and the disciple will Ƌuarrel among themselves. The son will beat up the father.

Verse 3

E vīrābhāi banThū banThū donoṅ laḍenge; E rahe rākhe Tushmanājī

English meaning: O brother! rothers will Ƌuarrel among themselves. They will foster enmity among themselves.

Verse 4

E vīrābhāi māṅ beṭiyāṅ donoṅ laḍengiyāṅ; onoṅ kahegiyāṅ saukanājī

English meaning: O brother! Mother and daughter will Ƌuarrel among themselves; both will call each other a co- wife.

Verse 5

E vīrābhāi bahū dharengī sāskī jiṭiyā; sāskū māre bahūvāṅjī

English meaning: O brother! The daughter-in-law will pull the mother-in-law͛s hair; the daughters-in-law will beat up Whe mother-in-law.

Verse 6

E vīrābhāi asīlkū to jagā nāhī; kam asīl rājā Tuvārejī

English meaning: O brother! The noble will acƋuire no status whereas the ignoble will enjoy a position in the king͛s court.

Verse 7

E vīrābhāi asīlke sir balā paḍegī; kam asīl pakḍe gumānājī

English meaning: O brother! Misfortunes will descend on the noble while the ignoble will boast.

Verse 8

E vīrābhāi sache yārā bhāi saW chhoḍenge; SuThā phal sūk jāegejī

English meaning: O brother! True friends will give up truth; ripe fruits will dry up.

Verse 9

E vīrābhāi koṭ girenge māḍiyā dhasenge; sab hoegā jangalājī

English meaning: O brother! Forts will be demolished; buildings will crumble down. verything will become deserted.

Verse 10

E vīrābhāi ākāskā mehū na barse; dhartī Thān na pākejī

English meaning: O brother! Zain will not fall from the sky; grains will not ripen.

Verse 11

E vīrābhāi bārā bārā kos ke darmiyān; ek diyā jalegājī

English meaning: O brother! Only one lamp will lit among ϭϮ kos (a unit of distance of variable length, usually ϯ miles).

Verse 12

E vīrābhāi hindū hindū musalmān; ekaṭvar khānā khāengejī

English meaning: O brother! Hindus and Muslims will eat meals together.

Verse 13

E vīrābhāi barāman baniyā gāe kāṭenge; bāṭe sāṭe laḍengejī

English meaning: O brother! rahmins and traders will slaughter cows. They will Ƌuarrel over their own portion.

Verse 14

E vīrābhāi aeb gaebkī āg lagegī; jalbal hove angārājī;

English meaning: O brother! A fire will break out abruptly and everyone will burn down to ashes.

Verse 15

E vīrābhāi aesī gaebkī pavan chalegī; parbaW uḍ uḍ jāengejī

English meaning: O brother! Suddenly such a wind will blow that mountains will fly away.

Verse 16

E vīrābhāi ek firasWā adhar garje; Mahammadki bāchhāījī

English meaning: O brother! An angel suspended in mid-air will exclaim the rule of Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him and his progeny)

Verse 17

E vīrābhāi amiam mahāras boliyā gur Sohodev; Phal sachā yārā lījājī

English meaning: O brother! The spiritual guide Sohodev (ra) has said this wise Ginān. The true friends will obtain reward. Eote͗ Another Ginān of this kind is ͞ jī ajab jamānā suṇo momān bhāijī͟ which is the Ginān no- ϭϴ in this volume.
