Verse 1

Ejī jamīn āsmān sāhebe jugate jaḍiyā, Teṇe dīdhā chhe girbhāvās ho; Sudho karī shāhne srevjo, To pāmo mokh dīdār ho; Dūdh ma dekho vīrā kāmnū, Eṇe dūdhe to paḍsho janjāḷho; Dāg dekho vīrā Ali taṇo, Sache shāh taṇo

English meaning: O brother! The Lord has skillfully setup the earth and the sky. He kept us in the womb of the mother. Be pure and obey the Lord then you will achieve salvation and didar. O brother! Do not fall for the apparent whiteness of milk (i.e. do not be attracted by the apparent colorfulness of the world). Due to this visible brightness you will fall in misfortune. O brother! see the beauty of Ali (a.s.), see the beauty of the true Lord.

Verse 2

Ejī kuṭumb parivār jīvḍe ghaṇā kariyā, Jīvḍo āvīne paḍiyo janjāḷho; Kāchī kāyā pinḍh ḍhaḷī paḍe, Teno lekho te sāhebjīne hāth ho; dūdh«

English meaning: O brother! The man increased his family members and r e l a t i v e s m u c h ; a s a r e s u l t h e w a s t r a p p e d b y encumbrances. The mortal body will collapse. Its account is in the hands of the Lord.

Verse 3

Ejī ann pāṇīnā parab jyāre sukshe, Tyāre strī rotā mele bāḷho; Bāp beṭo doe jagaḍshe, Evo thāese khoṭo kalikāḷ ho; dūdh«

English meaning: O brother! When the stocks of grain and water will dry up, women will forsake their weeping children. Father and son will both quarrel. In this way the bad time of Kaliyug will prevail.

Verse 4

Ejī sāmīnā daḷ jyāre chālshe, Tyāre sat dharamnū thāese vahevār ho; Uṇiāchārī tiyāṅ ubhā roshe, Phal leshe sachā yār ho; dūdh«

English meaning: O brother! When the Lord’s army will march the true religion will thrive. Those with imperfect deeds will stand and weep; true believers will attain rewards.

Verse 5

Ejī āl Alī Nabījīnī oḷkhīne sirevjo, Jeṇe kīdhī chhe satpanthnī sār ho; Pīr Sadardīn boliyā, Mārā momanbhāī tame rahejo hushiyār ho; dūdh«

English meaning: O brother! Recognize the progeny of Ali (a.s.) and the Prophet (s.a.s.), and obey themwho have helped the true religion. Pir Sadardin (r.a.) says: O my brother believer! be careful.
