Verse 1

Jem jem jugatsūṅ prīt karevā, bhāī prīt karevā, Tem tem rayaṇ viyāṇījī

English meaning: As you love the world o brother! as you love, so will the night pass away. (Or as you love the mode of worship o brother, as you love, so will the darkness of the night pass away).

Verse 2

Alīvar dātār samaryā nāhiṅ, bhāī samaryā nāhīṅ, To janam eḷe tenū jāejī

English meaning: Whoever did not remember Ali (a.s.) the giver of word, o brother, did not remember, his life will go worthless.

Verse 3

Karṇīnā hīṇā Alī ghar bhulā, shāhā ghar bhulā, To gurnarkā meḷā teṅkhe nāhījī

English meaning: Those with incomplete deeds or without deeds forgot the house of Ali (a.s.), forgot the house of the Lord, they will not meet in the concourse of the Imam and the Pir.

Verse 4

Eṇe sapnāntar je jīv bhulā, bhāi je jiv rāchiyā, Bhāī mat tinūne harāījī

English meaning: Those who were lost in this dream-like life, those who were engrossed in it, they lost their sense or intellect.

Verse 5

Karo karṇī kuchh samar lenā, kuchh samar lenā, To palatra hoeshe bhalāijī

English meaning: Perform good deeds and take some provision of good deeds with you, take some provision of good deeds; you will benefit in the Hereafter.

Verse 6

Nām parsāde shāhā hāthīḍūṅdeshe, Shāhā hāthīḍūṅdeshe, To ṭhām deshe Srī Islām Shāhājī

English meaning: Through the blessings of the Name, the Lord will lend support, the Lord will lend support; Shah Islam Shah (s.a.) will grant you a position or abode.

Verse 7

Ame uṇīyārī ame gunegārī, shāhā ame gunegārī, Pīr Sadardīn ventī suṇāyājī

English meaning: We are incomplete (imperfect) in our deeds, we are sinners, o Lord we are sinners; Pir Sadardin (r.a.) has said this entreaty.
