Ho jio jire bhāi jisre gurkū, Ham yārā khaḍe re umāyo e mu alā; Yārā sohi gur ham ghar bhale āyā
English meaning: O brother! May you live long! The spiritual guide whom we beseeched standing, we welcome that spiritual guide to our house.

Verse 2
Ho jio jire bhāi kamāvo anant, Āhiṅ yārātirath nāvo e mu alā; To jugajug hi poho bhale pāvo
English meaning: O brother! May you live long! Bathe in the Tirth (holy places i.e. jamatkha na) and earn much; then you will obtain the purity of the eras.
Verse 3
Ho jio jire bhāi virā ho nirinjan, Āhiṅ vāeke chālo e mu alā; To vimras māṅhe e samāvo
English meaning: O brother! May you live long! Follow the words of that Incomprehensible Lord and remain engrossed in his thoughts.
Verse 4
Ho jio jire bhāi diante e liante, Jini yāre āp e na lekhiāe mu alā; Tini sachi karaṇi e kamāi
English meaning: O brother! May you live long! Whoever did not consider himself in giving and receiving, he obtained true earnings.
Verse 5
Ho jio jire bhāi utam pāval, Lai je shāhāje dhar ubhāe mu alā; Tini amrapuri bhale pāi
English meaning: O brother! May you live long! Whoever obtained the higher blessings like Ab-e-Shafa and stood at the doors of the Lord, they obtained the eternal abode.
Verse 6
Ho jio jire bhāi halatra palatra, Sāmi rājāas tamāri e mu alā; Ham shāhāsharaṇāgat bhale pāi
English meaning: O brother! May you live long! O Lord King! In this world and in the next, in you alone we have hopes. It is well that we have obt ained the protection (or refuge) of this Lord.
