Jitīvār vāje vīrātan lākḍī, Bhāīkase to tāsūṅsharīr; Sāmītūmātāsāmītūpitā, Bhāīkāyam sirjaṇhār
English meaning: O brother! As long as the sounds of this wooden-like body can be heard i.e. there is life in it, He will put the body to test. O Lord! You are the mother, you are the father. O brother! The Ever-Living is the Creator.
Ḍolan lāgā te jīv ḍubshe, Bhāīrachne lāgāsāchāyār; Vārānikire vīrāvāṭḍī, Bhāīpanth khanḍākeri dhār
English meaning: O brother! He who staggers will drown and the true friend is reaching the other shore. O brother! The path is finer than a hair; the pat h is (like) the blade of a sword.
