Verse 1
Ejī kāchī kāyā miṭkī, Bande bhinje to jāere prāṇ; Kāeṅre kāchī kāyā miṭkī, Bande sāheb nām sadāe; Mīṭhā shāh maeṅ samarūṅ tero nām, Yā shāh samarūṅmaeṅ tero nām; Khudāvand samarūṅ maeṅ tero nām
English meaning: O brother! This body is like raw clay which is damaged on being drenched. What is this body made of raw clay? The name of the Lord will remain forever. O dear Lord! I am remembering your name. O Lord! I keep remembering only your name. O Lord! I am remembering only your name.
Verse 2
Ejī kyāre avliyā kyā ambiyā, Bande kyā so paegambar pīr; Kūṅvekī ghaṭ māl hae, Bande chal gayo sarve nīr; mīṭhā shāh…
English meaning: O brother! In this world what of saints, prophets, spiritual guides and apostles; like the string of the Persian wheel of a well (in which water is filled and emptied) all souls flow away.
Verse 3
Ejī Mer parbat gaḍh chālṇā, Bande chalego hiare sansār; Hāthesūṅ karṇā so kar lio, Jai utro paele pār; mīṭhā shāh
English meaning: O brother! Huge forts like mountain Meru will perish, and this whole world will perish. Perform with your hands whatever good deeds you want to, so that you may reach the otherside.

Ejī chalante chalante ham thākiyā, Bande samaro sāhebjiko nām; Sayyad Fāzal Shāhkī ventī, Mūṅse maher karo maherbān; mīṭhā shāh…
English meaning: O brother! We are tired of walking, remember the name of your Lord. Sayyid Fāzal Shah (r.a.) requests: O Merciful! Have mercy on me.
