Verse 1

Ejīkalmā kahore momano, Tame mat jāore bhūl; Rāh AlīNabījikī sāch hae, E hovege sadā kabūl

English meaning: O momins! Recite the Kalima and do not forget. Only the path of Hazrat Ali (a.s.) and the Prophet (s.a.s.) is the true path. Those who walk on this path will always be accepted.

Verse 2

Ejī āl Nabīyūtamkū bhejiyā, Is duniyāke bīch; Namāz bandagī kalmā hae, E hae niyāmat chīj

English meaning: O brother! The progeny of the Prophet (s.a.s.) has been sent for you in this world. Prayer, Bandagi and Kalima are blessings.

Verse 3

EjīNabīto jīvūṅkā dātār hae, Jeṇe kalmā suṇāyā; Je moman mānshe te baheshtīhovege, Bākī gāfal bhūlā gemār

English meaning: O brother! The Prophet (s.a.s.) is the savior of the souls who recited the Kalima. Those momins who accept it will enter paradise and the negligent will go astray.

Verse 4

Ejīhet prīt man bhāvsūṅ, Tame japo Allāh Rasūl; Kalmā kaho dil pāksūṅ, To kul vighan hove dūr

English meaning: O brother! With love, adoration and from the depth of your heart take the name of Allah and the Prophet (s.a.s.). Recite the Kalima with a pure heart then all difficulties will be removed.

Verse 5

Ejībin kalme bandagī kare, Te to bandagī sūnī sār; Te jem nit uṭh rāh chalṇā, Ākhar ujaḍ vās

English meaning: O brother! The Bandagi without the Kalima is void, as if one treads a path daily but ultimately reaches a wasteland.

Verse 6

Ejī Alī Nabīkū dhiyāiye, Tame suṇo moman vāt; Kalmā kaho dil sāchsūṅ, Nahīṅ to ākhar kāli rāt

English meaning: O momin brother! Listen to this! Obey Hazrat Ali (a.s.) and the Prophet (s.a.s.). Recite the Kalima from the depth of your heart otherwise the result will be dark night.

Verse 7

Ejī jis mukhe kalmā nahīṅ kahyā Nabīkā, Ane nahīṅ kahyā pukār; Tene undhe mastak ṭāngshe, Ane jāeshe dozak ke darbār

English meaning: O brother! The one who did not proclaim the Kalima of the Prophet (s.a.s.) openly, will be hung upside down and he will go to hell.

Verse 8

Ejī jis mukhe kalmā nahīṅ kahyā Nabīkā, Ane nahīṅ jāṇiyo nām; Tenā mukhmāṅhe aisā bhaṭhūṅ khāegā, Teno dozakmāṅhe ṭhām

English meaning: O brother! The one who did not recognize the name of the Prophet (s.a.s.) and did not recite the Kalima, the scorpions will bite his tongue and his abode will be in hell.

Verse 9

Ejī jeṇe kalmā suṇīyā Nabīkā, Ane kalmāṅheNabī kabūl; Tenā mukhmāṅhe amrat varastā pāvegā, Ane dozakthī karshe dūr

English meaning: O brother! The one who heard the Kalima of the Prophet (s.a.s.) and accepted him in the present era, nectar will flow from his mouth and he will be saved from hell.

Verse 10

Ejī nām Nabīkā mīṭhā hae, Jesā sākar ne dūdh; Kalmā kaho dil sāchsūṅ, To bāndho shafāyat mūl

English meaning: O brother! The name of the Prophet (s.a.s.) is as sweet as sugar and milk. If you recite the Kalima with a pure heart you will receive the blessing of intercession.

Verse 11

Ejī kalmā kahore momano, Ma karo jugkī kāṇ; Nahīṅto ekdam uṭhī jāoge, Ane dozak jāoge parmāṇ

English meaning: O brother! Recite the Kalima and do not care about the world, otherwise you will be suddenly whisked away and will surely go to hell.

Verse 12

Ejī pāṅch vikhiyā man vash karo, Tame moman dil rākho ṭhām; Kalmā kahe dil sāchsūṅ, To dozak hove harām

English meaning: O momin brother! Control the five poisonous vices of your self and keep your heart steady. Hell will be forbidden to him who recites the Kalima with a pure heart.

Verse 13

Ejī moman dilme karo bandagī, To phal Allāh Alī Nabīkā pāo; Kalme kunchīlekar tamārī, Dilnā tāḷā kholī jūo

English meaning: O momin brother! If you will worship in your heart you will receive the blessings of Allah, Hazrat Ali (a.s.) and the Prophet (s.a.s.). Take the key of the Kalima, open the lock of your heart and see.

Verse 14

Ejī man nirmal karī srevjo, Ane hardam liyo Allāh Rasūlkā nām; Momankū kalmā mīṭhā lāge, Jesā lobhīkū haemīṭhā dām

English meaning: O brother! Obey them after purifying your heart and always take the name of Allah and the Prophet (s.a.s). The Kalima seems as sweet to a momin as wealth seems to the greedy.

Verse 15

Ejī moman kalmā kaho dil sāchsūṅ, Ane jūṭh bājī chhoḍo; Māyāsūṅ man dūr karo, Tame het prīt sāhebjisūṅ rākho

English meaning: O momin brother! Recite the Kalima with a true heart and forsake falsehood and deceit. Keep your heart away from the love of the world; love and adore the Lord.

Verse 16

Ejī kalmā kahore momano, Tame mat rākho vīkh; Nahīṅ to kāl ja bahāvrā, Nahīṅto ā kūḍi duniyāmā ṭingāvsho nit

English meaning: O momin brother! Recite the Kalima and do not foster poison (evil) in your heart, otherwise the angel of death will keep you hanging in this deceitful world forever.

Verse 17

Ejī karaṇīe te raheṇīhoiye, Ane hakki roṭīkhāiye; Bhāītab rozānamāz kabūl ja hove, Ane baheshtmāṅhe jāie bhāi

English meaning: O brother! Perform good deeds and eat the breadfrom your lawful earnings. O brother! Only then will your prayer and fasting be accepted and you will go to paradise.

Verse 18

Ejī kalmesūṅkapṭī ne pāṅch vashn a hīṅ, Ane kūḍī najare joe; Kalme taṇīkīmat murakh na būje, Te kem karībaheshtīhoe

English meaning: O brother! One who denies the Kalima, does not control the five vices and looks with evil eyes, such an ignorant does not realize the worth of the Kalima; then how will he enter paradise?

Verse 19

Ejī kalme taṇī kīmat jo būjiye, To Allāh Alī dhiyāiye joe; Mankū māreho rahīye, To sahī baheshtī hoiye

English meaning: O brother! If you wish to know the worth of the Kalima, then obey Allah and Hazrat Ali (a.s.). Control your desires, then you will truly go to paradise.

Verse 20

Ejī dhan te desh Nabīkā, Ane jeṇe najresūṅ dīṭhā; Jis safadme Nabījī beṭhā, Te sab baheshtme jāe bhāī

English meaning: O brother! Praise be to the country of the Prophet (s.a.s.) and to all those who saw it. The queue in which the Prophet (s.a.s.) sat would all enter paradise.

Verse 21

Ejī jis sabhāmāṅhe Nabījī beṭhā, Ane kalmā kahī suṇāyā; Te moman upar hūṅbalhārī, Jeṇe dīdār Nabīkā pāyā

English meaning: O brother! The court in which the Prophet (s.a.s.) sat and recited the Kalima, I would sacrifice my life for him who received the Didar of the Prophet (s.a.s.).

Verse 22

Ejī dhan te māt pitākū, Ane dhan te kuṭumb parivār; Jeṇe Nabīkū dekhiyā, Te baheshtmāṅhe jāe bhāī

English meaning: O brother! Praise be to the parents and praise be to the families who received the Dida r of the Prophet (s.a.s.). They will go to paradise.

Verse 23

Ejī kalmā kaho Rasūlkā, Jo sab kāṭe pāp ne vīkh; Paṇ sab jug fanā hovege, Bākī rahenge khudā Rasūl

English meaning: O brother! Recite the Kalima of the Prophet (s.a.s.) which will destroy all sins and poisons. Everything will perish, only Allah and the Prophet (s.a.s.) will remain.

Verse 24

Ejī jis mukhe kalmā nahīṅ kahiyā Nabīkā, Ane nahīṅ jāṇiyo nām; Tenā mukhmāṅhe gāro loho āgkā, Tenū dozakhmāṅhe ṭhām

English meaning: O brother! The tongue that did not recite the Kalima of the Prophet (s.a.s.) and did not recognize his name, his mouth will be full of the marsh of iron and fire and his abode will be in hell.

Verse 25

Ejī jis mukhe kalmā nahīṅ kahiyā Nabīkā, Ane tis mukhe letī āg; Kalmesūṅ jo baheshtī hoiye, To phal pāve darūd dā shafāyat

English meaning: O brother! The tongue that did not recite the Kalima of the Prophet (s.a.s.), there w ill be fire in that mouth. By reciting the Kalima he will go to paradise and will receive the reward of the intercession of Salawāt.

Verse 26

Ejī āgaḷ jātā kem bhavsāgar ādro, Ebi jugmāṅhe jūṭhī vāt; Jenā mukhmā kalmā nahīṅ, Tene āgaḷ āg sangāthī

English meaning: O brother! In the times ahead, how will you cross the ocean of life (without the Kalima)? This is impossible in this world. The tongue which did not recite the Kalima, hell-fire will be his company.

Verse 27

Ejī pohrā āyā Alī shāhkā, Ane dhartī mānge bhog; Ketek khaḍang saṅhārse, Ane bākī mārenge rog

English meaning: O brother! The time of Mawla Ali (a.s.) has come and the earth demands sacrifice. Many will be killed by the sword and the rest will die of illness.

Verse 28

Ejī jannatī khorḍā kholiyā, Ane baheshtkā kamāḍ; Dānā hoese so sab samajshe, Ane nahīṅ samajyā so bhūlā gemār

English meaning: O brother! The doors and homes of paradise have been opened. The wise one understands everything and the foolish who does not understand will go astray.

Verse 29

Ejī moman murakh na hoiye, Em boliyā Pīr Satgur Nūr; Kalmā kahore Rasūlkā, To dekho nūre nūr hajūr

English meaning: O momin brother! Pir Satgur Nur (r.a.) admonishes not to be foolish. Recite the Ka lima of the Prophet (s.a.s.) and you will see the presence of light.
