Verse 1
Eji kaṇdhan na hotā, tab ved na hotā, Tab hotādhandhūkār, suṇo bhāi momano
English meaning: O brother! When there was neither grain (crop) nor wealth, even the Vedas were not there. At that time there was only darkness. O momin brothers! Listen.
Verse 2
Eji hāk na hoti, tab bhāt na hoti, E donu ratan nur samāe, suṇo bhāi momano
English meaning: O brother! There was neither sound nor being. Both those gems (Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.s.) and Hazrat Ali (a.s.) were in the Light. O momin brothers! Listen.
Verse 3
Eji jamin bi momano, āsmān bi āshāmomano, E doe thambhiyābāzk a rār, suṇo bhāi momano
English meaning: O momins! The earth and the sky were put in their own place. O momin brothers! Listen.
Verse 4
Eji chandar bi momano, suraj bi āshāmomano, E doe dipak jaḍiyāāsmān, suṇo bhāi momano
English meaning: O momins! Both the moon and the sun were studded in the sky like lamps. O momin brothers! Listen.
Verse 5
Eji pavan bi momano, pāṇi bi āshāmomano, E doe duniyāme samāe, suṇo bhāi momano
English meaning: O momins! Both the air and water were put in the world. O momin brothers! Listen.
Verse 6
Eji ann bi momano, hazrat bi āshāmomano, E doe jivuṅke ādhār, suṇo bhāi momano
English meaning: O momins! Man relies on both food and the Being of God. O momin brothers! Listen.
Verse 7
Eji e ginān mahāras, Pir gofte Hasan Shah, Aj kal jugme didār, suṇo bhāi momano
English meaning: O brother! Pir Hasan Shah (r.a.) has said this ginan full of wisdom. Today in the Kaliyuga there is Lord's Didar. O momin brothers! Listen.
