Verse 2
:īrebhāire hak halāl sāch ja bolo; Kūḍne kāḍhī nākhojī
English meaning: O brother! arn (your living) lawfully and speak the truth; shun falsehood.
Verse 3
:īrebhāire kūḍiyā to tiyāṅ kāhīṅ nav pāme; Sāchā to sāheb pāsjī
English meaning: O brother! >iars will not obtain anything there (in the Hereafter); the truthful will be with the >ord.
Verse 4
:īrebhāire sāchāne sāheb hāthīḍūṅ TeseH Kūḍ na Tekhe kāhīṅjī
English meaning: O brother! The >ord will support the truthful with his own hands; the liars will not be able to see anything.
Verse 5
:īrebhāire uṇiāchārī tiyāṅ bahū ja milse; T e s āch mārag na pāvejī
English meaning: O brother! Many will gather there with incomplete deeds; they will not obtain the true path.

:īrebhāire karaṇī kamāvo ne sāchū ja bolo; Eahīṅkā āgal dohelo thāsejī

:īrebhāire thoḍāne kāje bahot ma hāro; Kāle marī marī jāojī
English meaning: O brother! o not lose much for little, for we have to die tomorrow.

:īrebhāire māī na bāp banThav na hetū; S u k h T u k h koī na pūchhejī
English meaning: O brother! Eeither mother nor father nor brother nor the love ones, none will inƋuire about our happiness or sorrow.

:īrebhāire āpṇā kartav āpṇe sāthe āve; N a hīṅ āve kuṭam parivārjī
English meaning: O brother! Our earnings will accompany us, family and relatives will not accompany us.
Verse 10
:īrebhāire āpṇe savrāte sahū āvīne miliyā; E k l ā tiyāṅ kane jāvojī
English meaning: O brother! All have met for their selfish motives; you will go alone there.

:īrebhāire gurjī āvīne āga܃ ubhese; Pūchhse saūnī kamāījī
English meaning: O brother! The true guide will come and stand before us, (and) will ask after everybody͛s earnings.
