Verse 1

Ejīlāvo to āhīṅloṇīyo, E suṇo bhāīamjīho yārājī; Parbodh diyo dil āpṇe, vīrāāpṇe

English meaning: O brother! Listen O friend! You will benefit when you will advise your heart, O brother advise your heart.

Verse 2

Ejīsachīdil yārāāhīṅdīyo, E suṇo bhāīamjīho yārājī; Anal pankhījiaṅmeḍāmilo, vīrāmeḍāmilo

English meaning: O brother! Listen O friend! Offer a true heart. Like the anal bird (firebird) go and meet your origin, (Or remain united, O brother! Remain united with each other).

Verse 3

Ejīdāve dīn yārāāhīṅkariyo, E suṇo bhāīamjīho yārājī; Vimras jeḍāe moman bhāīje thi yo, virābhāīje thiyo

English meaning: O brother! Listen O friend! If you wish to act according to religion, then O brother believer! Be like Vimras, O brother, be like Vimras.

Verse 4

Ejīteṇe jīvḍe kāraṇāpṇe, E suṇo bhāīmjīho yārājī; Teṇeāp sir diyākāṭiyā,v īrāsir kāṭiyā

English meaning: O brother! Listen O friend! W ho, for the sake of his soul, cut off his head, O brother, cut off his head and offered it.

Verse 5

Ejīmandā bhāṇā āhīṅbhanyo, E suṇo bhāīmjīho yārājī; To loṇiyo amrāpurī,v īrābhāīamrāpurī

English meaning: O brother! Listen O friend! Kill the desires of your heart then O brother, you will obtain the eternal abode, the eternal abode.

Verse 6

Ejī hī parāyo dehḍo, E suṇo bhāīmjī ho yārājī; Tū nāṭhī doe ḍiaṇā, vīrā doeḍiaṇā

English meaning: O brother! Listen O friend! This city or body does not belong to you and you are a guest in it for two days, O brother, for two days.

Verse 7

Ejīpuṭhīyālagḍā āhīṅvinyo, E suṇo bhāīamjīho yārājī; Jīṅuṅṭhk DWāre nathḍī,v īrābhāīnathḍī

English meaning: O brother! Listen O friend! Follow like the camels, tied to a halter, move in a queue.

Verse 8

Ejīpale lagḍā āhīṅhalo, E suṇo bhāīmjīho yārājī; Gur chalāve moman bhāītyūṅchalo, vīrāW \ ū ṅchalo

English meaning: O brother! Listen O friend! W alk holding the skirt (of the guide). O brother believer! Follow as the guide leads.

Verse 9

Ejīhīshabd yārāāhīṅsuṇiyo, E suṇo bhāīamjīho yārājī; Pīr Shams bolīyāmoman bhāīventī,v īrābhāīventī

English meaning: O brother! Listen O friend! Listen to these words. O brother believer! Pir Shams (r.a.) said this entreaty.
