Verse 1

līlā pīlā paḍdā bandhāvo Bāi Buḍhāi Jīre bhāi līlā pīlā paḍdā bandhāvo, Ujlā kāḍā rang sārā jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! Set up green and yellow curtains; use all white and black colors.

Verse 2

Jīre bhāi chāre thambhe chok rupānā jaḍāvo, Tis me rang jot lagāḍo jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! Decorate all four pillars with silver (and) apply beautiful colors on them.

Verse 3

Jīre bhāi moṭā goḍā pāṇī nā bharāvo, Us me sarbat banāvo jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! Have huge utensils filled up with water (and) prepare sherbet in them.

Verse 4

Jīre bhāi uṅchā chokhā uṅchī dāḍ mangāvo, Ane uṅchā grat sārā jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! Send for the best quality of rice, best quality of pulses and best quality of cooking fat (ghee).

Verse 5

Jīre bhāi rāndhvā kāje moṭā munivar teḍāvo, Pachhe ame āvī ubhā raheve jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! Invite great momins for cooking; then I will come and supervise.

Verse 6

Jīre bhāi jamvā ṭāṇe aḍhāre bhāi teḍāvo, Je sansār taṇā parivār jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! At the time of serving food invite (all) eighteen brothers who are our family in this world.

Verse 7

Jīre bhāi masīt taṇā sarve mullāh teḍāvo, Teḍāvo kājī Māhāmad Shāh jāṇ jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! Invite all mullahs from the mosque and also invite qāzī Mohammad Shah.

Verse 8

Jīre bhāi fātiha khat mā sarve jāher kerā, Bhāi nām tamārā lenā jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! In the list of )āWLKD, take your own name in front of everybody.

Verse 9

Jīre bhāi tamāre pāse sarve māl hamerā, Bāpnī chha māsī karnā jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! All my wealth is in your possession; perform the six monthly ritual of our father.

Verse 10

Jīre bhāi Bāi Buḍhāi Pīr Kabīrdīn kī beṭī ja boliyā, Bhāi ke shabad par raheṇā jīre bhāi

English meaning: O brother! Pir Hasan Kabirdin (R.A.)’s daughter Bai Budhai says: I will remain on the words of my brother.
